My grandfather's fathers etc. were Caucasian,
My grandmother's roots are Egyptian, but they left their country a long time ago (about 100 years ago) and came to where they live now. What kind of race are Caucasians in general?

There are many sub-races now. Caucasian were classified as White, but they are not the same as European whites. In many instances people should classify themselves as their cultural identity rather than trying to fit into one of the "three original main races" because there are many sub-races that aren't the same as the original main races.
