#335 I don't think my native language is beautiful. Why is that?

Seriously? I think Russian is a very beautiful language, I was considering learning it..lol.
I think you should focus more on your culture and see the beauty of it, in time you'll appreciate your language...

Read some good literature in your language and you may start to like it.
But overall, the main reason I think is because we don't consider our native language special, because we are used to speak it. A foreign language can be more interesting.

Я тебя понимаю, что ты имеешь ввиду.
Это связано с тем, что в РФ продвижение (маркетинг) хорошей музыки не очень развит, хорошей музыки много, но о ней почти никто не знает, некоторые композиции и певцов очень сложно найти.

Я лично общался с некоторыми представителями российских рок-групп, которые были популярны в 90-ые года.
Если говорить коротко, то у них была проблема с маркетингом, при этом эти группы продолжают выступать в барах крупных городов России, но не более того.
Большинство из них тупо забили на то, чтобы стать ещё более знаменитыми, поскольку их музыка не очень востребована среди массовой аудитории.
В США и в Европе, например во Франции - с этим ситуация получше.

Я не люблю русский рок, потому что не смог найти группу, которая мне зашла бы в душу, в основном люблю слушать зарубежную рок, фолк и металл музыку.

В России никогда не было проблем с тем, чтобы что-то создать, но в России всегда были проблемы с тем, чтобы грамотно запатентовать, продать и разрекламировать, не без участия государства, которое также оказывает давление на музыкантов, если они становятся очень популярными, поэтому некоторые русские рок и металл группы переезжают в США, в основном в Калифорнию, поскольку туда проще иммигрировать по рабочей визе для талантливых людей.

I think Russian is nice, very elegant and sophisticated. Its been around for a very long time. Some people think it came from Sanskrit, or at the very least has been influenced by Sanskrit.

I think I understand what you mean. I bought this album from the Band "gosti iz budushchego". I like the band a lot, but a friend thought Russian wasn't too adapted to Rock music. its too sophisticated I guess. I am listening to it. It makes me happy. I took a basic Russian Language course by mail. Very beautiful language.

You could have a 9th house emphasis that gives you a special interest in foreign language/culture.

Different languages give different vibes, for example many(English speakers) say that German sounds angry, and French is said to be the language of love. I love the sound of Russian and I went through a period where I mostly listened to russian music, like Kino, DDT, IOWA, Stolniygrad, etc. The language, I think, evokes the spirit of the culture/ethnicity of the people it came from. Music is also influenced by cultural undercurrents of the time and place and people it was made, and you might have a sort of nostalgia or connection to that.
