What do you do when the damage is too severe to deal with? I can’t get into my mind, I can’t connect with people. I tired the Wunjo working you created and a few days in when things just started coming to the surface, it completely took over, I became a different person, and relapsed on drugs that same night after being clean for over a year. Before I properly buried all of this I used to have panic attacks that would physically seize up my lungs. I was only able to take control and begin breathing when I was suffocating and my survival mechanisms/instincts kicked in, because I was literally approaching death.

Emotionally I’m either completely dead (99.9% of the time) or completely overwhelmed (never by anything pleasant). Mentally I’m ruined and useless. I don’t see how I can ever heal myself. I just keep pushing on hoping somehow I’ll find a way or somehow this will improve. 20 years now and it’s only getting worse.

I firmly believe anyone can get better, because I have seen the proof of this among non-Zevists so it will work for Zevists as long as you do the correct applications and not do weird experimentations that some members try to do.

And, have you done the advice given by High Priest in his post for overcoming drug addiction?

I hope so but I don't think I really believe it anymore. I can only keep going and trying.

Drugs are not a problem anymore, what I mentioned was a while back. It was just to convey how severe this is, that it flipped me like that.

How much yoga do you do? You could try an hour a day, then work up to 90+ minutes, most days of the week.

I would like to thank you for even being willing to talk about it and be honest about where you are at emotionally and mentally, how you are coping and dealing with it....that takes courage.

I am not a professionally licensed trauma therapist, but as someone who has come out on the otherside of some pretty horrifying things I know burying it will not help you, it will continue to resurface in your life, affect relationship, sleep, jobs, intimacy with friends and relationships, concentration, depression, ambition and so many other things.

Have you sought any professional guidance with regards to working through this? Do chakra work, cleanse aura, meditate regularly, practice yoga to move energies through?

I agree with High Priestess, you can get to the otherside of this, heal and grow; anyone that chooses this and applies themselves can.

There is so much support and resources here. Im newer than many, but i am glad you found this place! You are not alone 💖🙏

I have never stuck to it for more than a few months and when I did it was usually 15 to 20 minutes spent in asanas. I am starting again tomorrow night and I don't take any days off, so I will work up to doing the session for an hour then maybe longer.

I know it needs to be dealt with but I don't know how. It doesn't resurface, I just feel dead.

Psychologists have been giving up on me since I was 3 years old. When I was forced to go I manipulated/played with them until they refused to see me anymore. When I wanted help and I was open and honest they admitted I was way beyond them, either intellectually or because I'm too fucked up to be helped.

I have started going to a group that has some understanding of some of the things I struggle with, to try connect with people again, and learn to deal with these things. It's still early but I feel like there's hope for it.

The rest I'll have to figure out. I will go on until I do or until my time in this incarnation is up. No other way but to keep fighting.
