Replies to Astrid [NG] in Rock Bottom, what is it trying to teach me?

Hello dear Brother, thank you for opening up about this 🙏

I'm not sure what resources are available where you're based, but any sort of government/community/ non-profit projects assistance might be worth looking into, perhaps this is something your wife could do? 🙏 Resources and programs of all kinds exist, you may be surprised what you could be eligible for or what is out there to help lighten the load somewhat. One thing at a time. 🙏

I already believe you are a very positive person and capable of so much, as you've stated, though you have been handling a lot 🙏 Resilience like you have shown is really admirable and rare, your family is very blessed to have you taking such good care of them and being a model of overcoming difficulties 💚

I think you should confide in your wife when you feel regulated enough to address this clearly with her, and seek any support (such as local hotlines that could direct you to more resources) about your feelings. You aren't alone in this ever 🙏

Thank you NG Astrid, I will try to be more understanding and confide with my wife a bit better, I sometimes vent in a way to where it upsets her, but I often don't have the ability to express myself in the ways I should lately. I will work on this and try to be a bit more balanced, as I have noticed I often don't handle these things the correct way, and have a tendency to just stress out and explode.

Thank you very much my friend. 🙏

Also, thank you in regards to the mentioning of resources, I will see what exists that is applicable and what could be done with this. 🙏

It is a pleasure dear friend, I really hope it helps you somehow, we all care about you a lot!

You're only human and it's completely understandable that when someone is under a lot of pressure the first thing that happens is communication breaks down, even with the people we love and care about the most.

I highly recommend that you take into consideration what NG Lucius Invictus has suggested and prioritise performing the spiritual practices which will help you as a soul, some spiritual self care to help recharge and build your inner reserves. This includes developing mental peace through breathing exercises, prayer and contemplation towards our beloved Gods, and others. Reaching a mental crisis point is a sign that it is way overdue 🙏 It is possible for everyone to develop a greater control over the mind, which really is everything. I'm not trying to suggest that you shouldn't ever vent or anything, but over time you will come to realise how much more constructive and beneficial it is to your own mind and the energy of the home environment to approach life's challenges as a team with our loved ones. There will, of course, always be growing pains at the start though as you learn how to work together for common goals instead of taking stress out on each other. Communication skills and everything will come with patience and mutual understanding and lots of love. (Speaking as someone who has had to learn this herself!)

This ^ Blessing for the home is very powerful for this 💚 and coincidentally the upcoming Moon in Sagittarius is perfect for performing this! Make sure to avoid VoC. Harmony and peace is what you deserve and it starts at home 🥰

A few more spiritual resources that can help:

Mastering the Breath - this page has really excellent practices at the bottom

The Pythagorean Day Meditation - this meditation will help you so much, to be able to get into a deeper connection with yourself and your actions each day. Oftentimes the best of us can downplay our achievements and what we've done well and overemphasise where we are still trying our best to improve as 'failures', which they are not, but only 'work-in-progresses'. It helps to develop more realistic self-compassion with a healthily balanced compass to improve each day. I highly recommend turning it into a prayer to the Gods/your Guardian as the page states in the second paragraph 🙏 and with lots of honesty and vulnerability about what you are going through.

Thank you so much NG Astrid. I will definitely see what I can do to incorporate some of this so things improve with my mental health, I will focus on revamping my meditation routine and establishing more stable power and mental strength, and decompression from the stress and things I am dealing with. 🙏

I disagree with Astrid, do not confide in your wife she is not your mommy, she is your lover. You can tell her how you're feeling but do not turn it into a therapy session. She is not responsible for your emotional state as you are not responsible for hers. Build attraction with her instead and seek professional help or find better ways to deal with stress. Go out with some buds or find something you enjoy.

Of course Brother is free to take what resonates and reject whatever does not.

I agree that connections and pursuing ones interests are critically important, since isolation only harms humans.

I also agree that a spouse shouldn't be responsible for treating their partner's mental health issues like a therapist or anything, and I emphasised keeping a healthy emotional boundary for that reason, but I don't think informing one's marriage partner that their safety may be at risk is placing her as a parent. A life partner with whom you have children etcetera, is more than a lover.
