Hi,

I wanted to ask how one would approach healing Tourette syndrome?

Is it linked to Mercury and the nervous system, the brain so a working involving Mercury Energies and yellow light help? Or would I need to do a Wunjo working?

I've have been suffering from it ever since I was a child, my family doctor said I had it, but there is no cure and for the longest time I believed them, but not anymore! I know that anything can be fixed provided one meditate, studies and improves oneself.

Healing is one of the most advanced practices you can engage in; it's not something that a complete beginner should be doing. Have it as a goal, but your focus should be on developing your soul first so that you can develop the power necessary to heal.

That aside, assuming Tourette syndrome is caused by Mercurial energy, I believe the solution would be to focus on the opposite energy, not to add more Mercury by doing Mercurial workings. See how you feel after practices like trance and Hatha yoga. Also, since you've been dealing with this since you were a child, it is a part of your identity. You will likely look for the behavior even after you are better, like constantly wondering when you will slip up. You need to reprogram your mind with a new personality that expects to act normal like everyone else and not constantly worry and look for the next slip up.

It will be quite a process, but definitely possible! I have links in my signature to articles I have written on several topics that can help you if you are interested.

Read HPS Lydia's yoga posts for balancing yourself, a nervous problem could be excess Vata, avoid Sat Kryia for now:

Not everything can be cured through spiritual practices alone.
If you have any kind of illness, the first thing to do is to get the opinion and support of a professional, who is trained in handling that specific issue.

DO NOT try any hazardous practice that may overstimulate your nervous system.

Hi, I have mentioned that I did see a doctor when I was a child who diagnosed me with it, but said there is no cure.
I could try again after so many years, perhaps there might be something! Thank you!

Thank you, brother, I appreciate your input on this matter, I will read what you have in your signature.

I wanted to follow up and ask if that when I do my regular aura and chakra cleaning followed by an aura of protection, I feel like I can't do anything else for a while and need a break, is that normal or should I push through and do stuff anyways? Thanks!

Hello brother,

Generally you want to do meditations that don't stimulate your nervous system, I would suggest working on the introspection beginner meditations that can be found here : https://templeofzeus.org/Awareness_Meditations.php

Also, trance meditation.

I believe these could really help you.

Best of luck.

I remember achieving a trance state once in my life and afterwards I felt so refreshed as if I was asleep the whole time while being aware of everything. Well, I at least think I did.
Everything's has been pretty hectic in my life lately so no moments of rest or quiet, I shall see about getting myself some ear defenders.

I did notice that doing Sat Kryria causes me to become anxious and a little too full of energy (not in the good way), I never realized that it could be an issue but it makes sense now, thanks!

Yes, if you are just starting out, you will experience this. It will subside in a few days, but for now, don't do any more than that. It's your body getting used to the increase in energy.

Oh no, I'm not a new member, I've been with Joy of Satan and now Temple of Zeus for quite some years, but I still have a lot to learn and understand.

Everyone learns at their own pace, eh?

But like, is it normal to still experience these things even after so many years? Or am I just not doing something right?

If it was a one-time thing, yes, it can also happen after some years. It also depends on whether you did other meditations before the yoga that already increased your energy.
If you become anxious and a bit overwhelmed by the energy, you should either decrease the repetitions, the time, or do some Hatha yoga.

I think the problem with me is that I always want to do too much and don't know how to rest and then my body sort of "forces" me to rest because I raised my energies too high in various meditations.

It mostly happens when I either do too much at once or the knowing that I'll be doing too much that causes me to make uncontrollable body movements and sounds that I sometimes don't even hear/feel myself make until somebody points it out to me.. It's sort of embarrassing and I really want it to end, but I don't know how to fix this.

I want to be free of this constraint, not to be limited by it, because I feel like it limits me even in my day to day life. Does any of this make any sense?
