Here are some fragments that I made in honor of Goddess Hathor, to try to understand her energy. The 40-day schedule is amazing at helping us discover energies, ways of expression, and understanding about the world. Not every day that we do a ritual for a God or Goddess sends me something finished, but I hope to look back on this in time and be happy that I tried. You can too!

Hathor Dearest

You smile, and the heat of the sun
warms our dance until
we seek the frivolous in trance

but we find the electric moment
of red orbit, the ratio of blooming
Hathor dearest, what is love in this domain?

the Goddess of the golden dark,
You revealed us the ache
between a flower and a star

You who descended wearing light
and found the dark was not your ending
but your crown.
