A woodpecker symbolizes opportunity, creativity, and determination. It encourages individuals to use their intellect to overcome challenges and to appreciate the value of truth both in life and their spiritual future.
I feel like they do have a connection with Mars. Especially a large one like a Pileated woodpecker are like prehistoric. It feels like you are looking at a pterodactyl.
A woodpecker is a very industrious bird that uses it's beak in impressive speeds. I think in symbolism, it would mean hard, fast and well aimed work as a means to advancement. They are beautiful birds.
An interesting fact about woodpecker is that it have a long and bifurcate tongue that wrap completely around the skull until the base of the beak. The bird do that to absorb the shock and to protect from injury during high-speed pecking. It is in fact an interesting bird. In my country we call it the doctor of the trees.
I am going to attempt to read this sign from Goddess Astarte. She is providing motivation for my current practice. She is saying that Vyayam with its high-speed rythmic movements is my means to advancement. That the breath of fire will ascend the Kundalini up my spine and burn through the crown chakra. Today I was also told in person that woodpeckers wrap their tongue around their brain, shown an actual fired physical bullet that I held, and a plastic dinosaur. Seems like a real world validation of these comments. Let me know what you think.
I have attempted to also write an affirmation for my Vyayam practice. Can anyone here check for mistakes?
Uruz x20
"The rune Uruz is enhancing my practice of Vyayam in every positive way. I am strong, healthy, athletic and muscular in everyway, now and forever!"
Also when is best to vibrate Uruz before practice when I am about to do the Vyayam? Or before bed when the body is healed while asleep?

Early-mid morning or early evening is best time to do Vyayam - Yoga.
Affirmation sounds good.
Light basic breathing and AoP is good before bed, but you really shouldn't do any exercise routines before bed.
Knowing your Doshas is important, which are not just about the body but also the mind.
