Silly question probably i know, but when it comes to God rituals and we reach the point where we affirm what we must towards the particular God or Goddess, is it alright if we begin speaking out loud to them? I only ask this because as others have said this is as we know a most holy thing we can do to connect to the Gods. I ask this for my self and for those who may have not thought to ask this. Be blessed forevermore Zevist Family, and thank you for taking the time to reply with your thoughts on this matter.

I meant to say specifically after we have done the affirmation of course.

At the end of the Ritual while meditating on the Sigil you can talk to them through the Sigil if you have something you want to say and this is one the best ways to communicate with the Gods.

Ah, very good so i should wait until the very end of the ritual then to speak to the God/Goddess for whose ritual i am doing. Thank you very much. Last night, as I was reaching the affirmations for Lord Osiris I would begin to talk out loud after finishing said affirmations to him. I will continue to do this, now that I know it is fine to do.

Communication can be psychic or spoken aloud. Usually, after a Power Ritual, I tend to communicate with them telepathically because it helps me better perceive their energy. Sometimes, however, I have a letter, perhaps where I write requests for help or guidance, and then I read it aloud; almost as if I were making it conscious to myself as well. It depends a lot on who you are; the important thing is the respect with which the ritual is performed.

I like communicating out loud, it's probably just for my own sake and not for "more efficient communication". The Gods certainly hear your thoughts when you address them, especially after a Ritual. It's a matter of personal prefference.

It's always interesting to hear others perspectives on communication with the Gods, thanks everyone.
