Greetings family,
Is it possible that eating 3 times each day makes tired?
How did the ancient people handle eating moments and meals?
thanks
What you’re describing is actually a form of intermittent fasting.
This is when, out of 24 hours, you fast for about 18 and eat within the remaining 6-hour window.
This method has quite a few benefits, and I personally follow this kind of diet myself (I eat a maximum of two meals a day).
If you don’t have any health issues, you can give it a try (eat only 1-2 meals per day).
But if you do have health problems, it’s better to consult a doctor first and discuss whether this approach is suitable for you.
Intermittent fasting is also somewhat similar to how our ancestors ate. In order to get food, they had to go without eating for a certain amount of time, and then they ate within another period. Most of the time, they fasted longer (during hunts) and ate afterward. This also had its benefits, since hunting itself is one of the most intense forms of cardio and physical activity.
But again, if you have any health concerns, consult a doctor first.
If everything is fine, you can try eating this way (1-2 times per day) for a couple of days and see how it feels.
