Is there a god called Xipe Totec? I don't know much about the history of the Aztecs. Were they like us or were they different? When I look on the internet, they are always shown as a people who sacrifice to the gods in religious ceremonies, but I don't know if this is true or false. I would be very grateful if you could inform me. Thank you very much.

I'm assuming you asked an A.I. already and are looking for more information than you located already? If the negative portrayal of this being (or thoughtform) is a hoax, then it's one that a lot of effort went into (like the name Satan). I almost find myself convinced of the sacrifices made to this god, because all of the evidence. ChatGPT says there are "indigenous codices, Spanish descriptions, and archaeology — independently point to the same practices: captives were sacrificed to Xipe Totec." Obviously we know most gods of the Gentiles have been extensively blasphemed, though. For some reason this god reminds me of "Euronymous."

An argument can be made for anything, but good luck, because this seems like it could get very confusing.

Someone posted before that the Aztecs didn't always do human sacrifices. They only sacrificed humans during the last 2-3 centuries before the Spanish conquered their land. That's because they got corrupted, either by power hungry priests or rulers or contact with enemy beings, so they thought they were stopping or delaying the end of the world by sacrificing humans. That's the only reason they did them.
