When I was young I remember being stuck on level in final fantasy, being unable to beat it, giving up and quitting both the game and video games as a whole for well over a decade. I say back and realized I had just wasted my life on nothing, an imagination that serves no purpose. If you remove the screen, controller and console, there's a slack jawed fool wasting their time, gaining no real knowledge, experience, or true value, just jiggling there fingers with a blank expression their face. For those of you who still play this and are addicted you have to realize that this isn't really any different from being plugged into a virtual reality, except with slightly less realism.
With that being said I could find some use in them as I started playing again a few years ago, but for the most part as a distraction when holding certain yoga poses for long periods of time and with a timer if I have to switch sides for the sake of balance. Otherwise I would lose track of time and hold for who knows how long. I have a cushioned U shaped chair for supporting my shoulders while in a head stead and can hold for up to 30 minutes, although I normally hold for about 15-20 which is about how long it takes me to finish a quick game of pubg. It takes time consistency to hold for this long, and it should never be rushed as this is dangerous. If a blood vessel in your brain explodes you could die so make sure you increase slowly.
The distraction actually makes it much easier to hold and my back chakras, the 3 points that open up your wings, open up nicely and I often charge up for rituals in this way. Most other stretching poses don't need to be held for longer than 4-5 minutes as you will just cut off blood flow to the area.
There are of course certain poses that you can't really focus on the game with, but I am mainly speaking of the ones where this is possible. Also you do have to be pretty flexible already if you trying to play games in split for example. The benefit of this is that you can have some fun while your also placing value and energy within yourself.
I know plenty of you will be unable to quit, and it is always preferable to read, study, write e-mails, and be productive while multitasking, but I realize some of you might be unable or unwilling to quit.
