Hello again Brothers and Sisters, I have written and used this poem as my opening to doing God Rituals after reciting the initial affirmation and Invocation to Zeus in the standard ritual format. For a time, I had read those of the Temple of Zeus website and became inspired to write my own to use and share. I'm excited to say I have more I am inspired to write, and I wrote another I will be working on more a few days ago.

Thank you

Black feathers fall in a sunset blaze

Black feathers fall down to the Earth

Black feathers fall to dust in Rebirth

Black feathers fall day after day

Black feathers fall through clarity and haze

Black feathers fall piercing worry and fear

Black feathers fall from the peak of the sky

Black feathers fall as the old self dies

In Rebirth the dross is shed from the pure

In Rebirth the Queen at last regains her King

In Rebirth the skies alight in Eternal Flame

In Rebirth to see we are not yet the same

Black feathers fall as the Serpent climbs

Black feathers fall as the bringer of woe dies

Black feathers fall upon lands abroad

Black feathers fall as we bear witness of the Gods

And as the old turns into ash

From the flaming husk falls to the land shall crash

As one walks through the Gates of Transformation

As one sheds clear ignorance and misinformation

As the night yields a sunrise and to new days clear

I will find myself bolstered and devoid of fear

Through the times of desolation and times of pain

I shall return to the Gods again

I shall help them bring their divine light

Even through brightest days and darkest nights

I have seen some what yet to come

And it is my time to begin marching to the beating drums

Awakened now and even pushing through final agony

A struggling mind to realize my existence in harmony

I go step by step

I walk this path

This Path of Truth and Transformation

To the Gods they bid me forth

I was inspired to make a small change, especially if those are using this. As this poem in originality has reflected my personal life in a number of ways. I wanted to post it some part in transparency to that. This change I have made in the addition of "Rising above a struggling mind" also reflects this, and, pushes past the current/present state of struggling that the poem contained before.

Thank You again
