Seeing while astral projecting, or using astral vision, I've noticed, is very similar if not identical to how you 'see' things during dreams. It has long been said that whenever one dreams that they are simultaneously astral projecting. I think that I can attest to that.

Yes actually, when I sense energy, I can feel it on my Aura/Skin, and based on how intense it is I can determine how far away it is. Heavier clothes are just a heavier distraction for me when trying to sense energy. It's easy to get past, though.
