What i dislike about astrology

The path of Zevism is all about overcoming your weaknesses, and astrology is a tool given to us by the Gods to see where those are.

You might have noticed that you have overcome those weaknesses already. In that case - props to you. It's wonderful.

See the natal chart as a starting point, you can always move on to greater depths. Don't be discouraged from looking at it. Look at it with pride, knowing you've already overcome those weaknesses.

The birth chart is a "default fate". Those aspects of each planet are seeds, and they will bloom, manifest, run their course and reach their conclusion, under ordinary circumstances.

Under ordinary circumstances, even life events and one's own personal material effort won't change the course of the birth chart. Planetary energies affect us in that way, as beyond the chart, there are also transits in how the current sky interacts with the chart.

And yet, there are two meaningful exceptions to this.

Firstly, spiritual practice is "cheating fate". It is a domain where one harnesses energies that go beyond planetary energies. Our practices empower the soul, and also offer you the tools to use this empowered soul, these gained spiritual faculties, to harness these greater energies, and even align with the Gods, which are the highest and override all.

If your chart shows, for example, problems with communication, a normal person might be able to make the most of their skills, improve their communication somewhat, adapt to their problems, and this is already great and commendable. But they will never truly be able to spin it back into being a truly gifted communicator.

And yet, if you do workings to improve your communication, like Mercury Squares or just a Runic working, you are "transcending fate", and changing the architecture of your soul and how it interacts with the planetary energies. Not only do you draw in more favorable planetary energies, but you also rise above the push and pull of the planets in the first place.

Second, I did repeat quite a bit "ordinary circumstances". Zevists are not within ordinary circumstances. We have the Gods, in a real, palpable way, that those outside of Zevism do not have.
We have a connection to the Gods that we can hone. We make the Gods favor us by our work, diligence, and by being an active and contributing part of this family, as well as a flourishing member of said family. Even a prayer to the Gods, coming earnestly from a person with worthiness and with perseverance in their goals, can transcend certain limitations within one's "fate". Do everything in your power to improve, both materially and spiritually, but never rule out "miracles".

I looked at my Natal chart and things there rang true with what I've seen in my life.
I wish I had come across ToZ 20 years ago. I'm getting old now, and probably won't really open my soul to it's full capacity. But it's up to me I suppose. At least my spiritual practice will put me good steed for my next life

you can always strive to full capacity related to what you can currently do, that will be a very highly respected way of living, the ones who reached full capacity, if we make them restart from the exact point you are at now, what will they do ? If you do that, then you are very highly respected since they too if they started a that point they will do the same. So that is full capacity in my opinion, in quality of decisions, actions and thoughts.

Thankyou sister, I appreciate it, and didn't know HPZM did this sermon.
I wasn't actually discouraged, just being pragmatic.
I've made my share of mistakes, but I've lived a relatively good life compared to some. When I look back I now realise the reasons why certain things happened to me. I haven't done regressional meditation yet, but I think I was connected to the Gods in some way in my previous lives.
All I want now is to do what I can spiritually until it is my time to pass on, and help where I can here at ToZ.
I recently read someone saying here that there is an undeniable "presence" here. I too sense that and believe it is the Gods showing us the way forward with truth and love.

Personal opinion, as I am not an expert astrologer, but I think almost each aspect that we perceive as 'negative' or malefic can be sublimated or transformed in some way, even the planets in detriment or hard aspects. The chart is a whole system where, if you have a 'cog', let’s say, that is not oiled or up to standard, it can be put into function somewhere else or in a different mode. Transits activate specific aspects in the chart more than others as well.

To give some examples: Mars in Cancer, seen as a worrier, holding anger inside, moody, volatile. But then you can have Moon in Aries somewhere in your chart, offsetting some of the aspects of Mars, or have the Moon [seen as the emotional dimension of a person] in aspect with Mercury, which offers you strong intuition, and your thoughts about family and home life are more sensitive. So hopefully your awareness makes this sensitivity offset the moody and volatile, other-side 'aggressive' aspects of Mars in Cancer.

Mercury in Leo, despite being in fall, is a placement where one is prideful in what they know, strong-willed, and focused. “Mercury in Leo can give a gift for speaking before crowds and for lecturing.” Is that bad in any way? You want to fix a weak Sun in your natal placement? Do the Sun Square. Those with ASC Sun in Libra cannot act or be seen as a Sun in Leo person, but they can get the solar qualities and confidence by Venusian methods: diplomacy, a distinct type of charm and love for social grace.

You have your own internal experiences, that’s where meditation and awarenessExternal ↗ practices help a lot, and then your ability to produce results in the world, like how you translate what you think of yourself and your surroundings into action.

Saturn is the “Greater Malefic,” but it is also the planet that shows you, in this cycle of lifetime, what you forgot or must correct so that your soul advances.

It’s a give and take, seen from the whole natal chart of a person. This is why it can be complex and confusing to understand. Zevists also have specific occult placements that can help them a lot.

Any improvement will put you at an advantage compared to who you were before joining and to all the Zevists who don't meditate regularly. Many spiritual milestones, and also the ability to impact one's life positively using magic, are not restricted to being Clergy-level or what is usually called extremely advanced. I would say not to start with the rigid belief of being unable to reach certain goals, or give circumstance more credit than it might have in the end.
