Can anyone tell me how long ago the flood actually was? Was it more than 10000 years ago? Please help.

honestly I think the flood was just an allegorical story but there is some evidence to suggest that a great flood occurred about 5000BC

Floods have happened a lot, and one interpretation - because ambiguity and vagueness allows very many various inferences/wishful thinkings and forced beliefs/self-brainwashings/mind-rapes - is that anything from something as small as a puddle upto a giant deluge of water = floods. Maybe 99.999999999999999999% of the murdering of all life is permissible, technically, and also what about fish and other sea life? Did water kill fish and other sea life? eyeroll
