should I create a paper Ouija board

I have used one before, but I believe I got answers that were a little jumbled up. But It definitely worked. Maybe someone else knows more about this?

I dedicated back in july and I've been meditating for months now. I don't have access to a classic wooden oujia board so if I make a makeshift paper one, will it work? Will I be protected?
