During this year, I began having some episodes of insomnia. I went to see a doctor, and received a referral to psychologist AND psychiatrist (I only got it 2 days ago, and I'm also under stress due to moving house). Though earlier I had asked ChatGPT what I could do about it, and whether my acute hearing can somehow… be treated. I was told at doc’s office that acute hearing is a symptom, and that it’s an emotional thing.

First, from the astrological point of view: transiting Pluto in my 3rd House is squaring my natal Sun in the 12th House.

Now, it’s been almost a week without any sleep. I began doing yogic breaths, but I guess it will take some time for them to affect my nervous system and alleviate the symptoms.

Which God could help me with my issue? As I fear this is a life-and-death situation - quite a Plutonian one.
I've been thinking about Lord Valerefontis, but... any other ideas?

Thanks Family!

Buer is good for bad illnesses, but Zeus can also help in urgent situations, as well as your GD.

The ritual to Lord Bes and the upcoming ritual to Lord Hypnos will assist.

If your nervous system is over-active, then try getting into a trance on a daily and staying there for 15 - 20 minutes. This is will be healing. Also, before bed, practice 5 minutes of void meditation to calm the mind. Although I've never tried this, I've read other Zevists using the rune Berkano for sleep and relaxation.

Consider depriving your senses for sleep. Use earplugs and something to cover your eyes.

Definitely go see your referrals.

Hello. I've found walking/hiking for an hour a day to be very helpful for sleep. We have another member who wrote that he had very bad insomnia and one day he walked for something like 8 hours straight and that cured it.

I've also had bouts of insomnia and walking for 2 to 3 hours (broken up into a few walks through the day) cured it. As you've been sleepless for a while, walking that much might be hard on your system, so perhaps try for 30 minutes a day. You can even go to a park and just walk laps, and try to breathe in the energy of the trees.

Crystals that can help sleep are Howlite and Jasper, there's probably more too if you're able to go to a crystal store.

Once you manage to sleep enough time, it is important to remember that physical activity during the day is important not only because it helps you take care of the body like a responsible human being but also because it helps you spend enough energy to allow you to be sleepy at night. Many people who don't train their body regularly (a mandatory requirement for humans) and do not go for walks/hikes/runs even on "days off" from training suffer from insomnia because they haven't spent enough energy. Their mind may be tired but their body simply is not tired enough to sleep. During the week, you need both cardiovascular activity like running, hiking (different from a simple walk), rowing, swimming, or playing sports that are intermittent in nature; and a strength-based activity like weight

Astrologically, yes, a square from Pluto to the Sun can affect your energy levels and health. Mental health can be affected with the 12th house involved, yes, but look for further support for this like hard aspect from either Pluto or Saturn to your Moon or Mercury, or to the ruler of your 12th house. Hearing concerns also make sense with Pluto transiting the 3rd house.

Lord Valerefontis can help for sure, as can Lord Buer suggested below. Personally, I recommend either Lord Asclepius or Lord Kheiron because this issue seems to be related more to the mental side and very likely stem from your lifestyle as well, not something externally induced like bacterial or viral infection. In fact, for most people health issues usually arise from improper lifestyles. In other words, pure maintenance of their body and minds. Diet, sleep, exercise, learning, emotional observation, stress management... most people don't handle those matters proper, and end up reaping the consequences of the neglect/abuse they subject their bodies and minds to.

It is great to hear that you managed to get a referral to a psychologist: I hope they're good for you, and that you'll really take in any good advice.

Also, I just want to point out that a full week without sleep is very unlikely. It may feel like that, but the reality is that a human would be on death's door. Perception of time can be easily distorted when being sleep deprived. If you told your doctor that you haven't slept in that long, you wouldn't be referred to a psychologist, but told to go to the emergency department at the nearest hospital. After 4 days, you'd start to hallucinate and get severe psychosis.

I hope you listen to all the advice provided by everyone in this topic, and that you get better soon.

The best way to fall asleep before going to bed is a two-hour walk late at night, or at night near the house (in some countries it is unsafe to walk at night), or about 3 o'clock in the afternoon in a forest with a lot of mature trees and vegetation.

One of the best options is yoga in the forest, or in a city park (where there are many trees), it is advisable to practice in the morning and before going to bed.

One of the important points is to maintain a sleep pattern, try to go to bed earlier, for example at 10 p.m. and wake up early in the morning. A person has an internal biological clock that regulates sleep, I think you just need to adjust this clock correctly and maintain the discipline of going to bed when your clock (sleep mode) is normalized.
