Temple of Zeus — The Assembly of the Gods

Rock Bottom, what is it trying to teach me?

Hello, I will try to make this short.

I have been applying and searching for better employment going on originally about 2 years, getting closer to 4 years, while trying to upskill with learning electronics systems, operating systems, Linux, many other things.

I couldn't afford college without debt, so I taught myself a lot of different things and stayed very proactive and I try to remain positive.

Nothing has worked out in terms of a good job, like an actually good job, that sustains me and my family. There is nothing around here at all that is decent, I'm surrounded by low wage jobs, and the remote market is all fake and all I get is auto rejections despite my knowledge and skills.

I have tried incredibly hard to have a financially stable and good life. The upside is I own my home. I own my car. And I make a measly income, at least it's something.

I can't afford the costs of existence that just stack up endlessly with no end, car repairs, home repairs, everything is so expensive and out of control that I am ready to end my life most days from the stress, I have health issues and I can't just work 80 hours a week to afford endless things that are thrown on my plate on salaries that cap way too low for most of the labor market.

I scrape by with just my willpower alone, and somehow, I make it work for now by being very careful, but it is incredibly stressful on me.

Everything in regards to actually taking care of myself, gets put on the back burner because I'm only one person, and what is on my plate is just too much.

I have a wife with health issues, children with autism that have special needs and all these appointments, and my wife has seizures and can't drive, and most of my family is unavailable, I have next to no one around if something were to happen. I can't just commute two hours away and be on a job site, and then have to do a school pickup or an appointment. Let alone if I am working a regular job and have to try to fit this all in.

I have no health insurance from my current employer that is affordable, my heart and chest were hurting for a week, couldn't afford the deductible or the bill in the mail, so I just didn't go, not like I could afford an ambulance either.

Dental work? Needs done, but out of the question.

I don't know what life expects of me. I don't understand anything lately.

It's not hopeless, I'm sure there is a solution or some sort of answer somewhere. But what is it? I don't know.

The key thing here I want to stress is I'm really trying to be positive. I really am trying to pull this all together. I just feel like I'm being crushed.

I do a lot of research, I apply to jobs endlessly. I try to stay on top of the things I "can" afford. My wife and kids are fine, and things for them are good, but I'm breaking and cracking at the seams lately.

All while busting out health and wealth workings in a constant rotation and keeping the effort consistent materially.

Surely, it will all work out somehow. I'm sure it will.

Dear Brother,

You ask the right question, however, noone exept for yourself can come up with an answer. I sympathize with your situation because although not identical, I find many similarities with my own. Having children with special needs, strugling financially, having serious health issues and other details are very familiar to me and yet it can be much worse, you know that. I d not know you personally but from your writing can attest to your extraordinary strength and resilience in the face of hardship. Perhaps that's where the lesson lies in all this. If your qualities and skills are complemented by a new level of courage and initiative, the results that you strive to achieve will materialize sooner. Just hang in there be relentless. We will surely come up on top because there's so much that needs to be done for the young ones, the old ones, ourselves and last but not least the Shining Ones that put their trust in us. In spite of all odds, we'll get there.

I see you have many skills related to computer, what company can you start by your own skills? You can't become rich by trying to find jobs that won't pay you well, you need to create your own buisness that could become internationnal.

Now, this being said, take care of yourself too, you should talk about your stress to your wife or anyone that would only listen. After that, you should focus on the spiritual part of your life, I have been focusing on material and wealth too much myself, I have put more time into the spiritual growth lately and things are getting better everyday. Balance is needed.

You are blessed by the Gods, do not forget it. Take care of your health, try to work the spiritual side and go ask your GD how you can build a buisness with your skills.

You will be fine, you are strong. You are blessed.

Greetings brother,

I of course don't know your situation fully, so not sure how much this can apply to you, but hopefully it can help you think of ideas.

You mentioned you wouldn't be able to commute 2 hours away. Perhaps relocation is an option, if it means you would be in an area with more tech jobs. You can apply from where you are now, to jobs in a broader area that is within a feasible distance to relocate to. Relocation is not uncommon with tech jobs, and they sometimes can offer relocation assistance in the form of a one-time bonus. Additionally, hybrid is relatively common with tech jobs as well, meaning schedules with 1 or more days working from home. You may not get the best job initially - the important thing is getting experience in your desired tech area first and foremost, and you can then search for other job opportunities once you have accrued sufficient experience.

The reason I suggest this is also because you had said your family is often unavailable currently, which could actually make relocation more feasible of a choice, as this can mean there is less of a need to stay at your current town.

I appreciate your thoughts, I wrote this in a hurry but I do have at least my parents in the area who are aged and need to have me around, but I cannot overly rely on them for things obviously.. and I will be trying to focus on these hybrid roles in tech you mention, and see what else the greater general area has to offer in terms of possible solutions with better work with better pay.

Hello brother,

I don't believe difficult things happen with a higher purpose to teach us things, they just happen and yes, we learn by overcoming them. But do they have the purpose to teach? I'm not sure the question in the title has an answer.

I've never been a parent with children to take care of, I can't even imagine the pressure you feel. But I must say owning a home, having a job, taking care of people like you do is not rock bottom. It is praiseworthy.

An idea I might offer is trying to utilize astrological timings and locations - yes I know not everyone might agree but I had more luck getting a job on the line of my MC ruler (local space chart) and housing on the Sun IC (astrocartography/travel chart). But since you already have a home, you might not get far away, still just check in case.

Prometheus ritual has verses for us to think of something we did not before to acquire wealth and it seems to me it is fitting for you, it could give you power and insight.

Thank you this is a significant help, I am going to look more into my own astrology chart, and astrological timings and locations to see what I can find that may help with this. 🙏

Hello dear Brother, thank you for opening up about this 🙏

I'm not sure what resources are available where you're based, but any sort of government/community/ non-profit projects assistance might be worth looking into, perhaps this is something your wife could do? 🙏 Resources and programs of all kinds exist, you may be surprised what you could be eligible for or what is out there to help lighten the load somewhat. One thing at a time. 🙏

I already believe you are a very positive person and capable of so much, as you've stated, though you have been handling a lot 🙏 Resilience like you have shown is really admirable and rare, your family is very blessed to have you taking such good care of them and being a model of overcoming difficulties 💚

I think you should confide in your wife when you feel regulated enough to address this clearly with her, and seek any support (such as local hotlines that could direct you to more resources) about your feelings. You aren't alone in this ever 🙏

Thank you NG Astrid, I will try to be more understanding and confide with my wife a bit better, I sometimes vent in a way to where it upsets her, but I often don't have the ability to express myself in the ways I should lately. I will work on this and try to be a bit more balanced, as I have noticed I often don't handle these things the correct way, and have a tendency to just stress out and explode.

Thank you very much my friend. 🙏

It is a pleasure dear friend, I really hope it helps you somehow, we all care about you a lot!

You're only human and it's completely understandable that when someone is under a lot of pressure the first thing that happens is communication breaks down, even with the people we love and care about the most.

I highly recommend that you take into consideration what NG Lucius Invictus has suggested and prioritise performing the spiritual practices which will help you as a soul, some spiritual self care to help recharge and build your inner reserves. This includes developing mental peace through breathing exercises, prayer and contemplation towards our beloved Gods, and others. Reaching a mental crisis point is a sign that it is way overdue 🙏 It is possible for everyone to develop a greater control over the mind, which really is everything. I'm not trying to suggest that you shouldn't ever vent or anything, but over time you will come to realise how much more constructive and beneficial it is to your own mind and the energy of the home environment to approach life's challenges as a team with our loved ones. There will, of course, always be growing pains at the start though as you learn how to work together for common goals instead of taking stress out on each other. Communication skills and everything will come with patience and mutual understanding and lots of love. (Speaking as someone who has had to learn this herself!)

The Pythagorean Day MeditationExternal ↗ - this meditation will help you so much, to be able to get into a deeper connection with yourself and your actions each day. Oftentimes the best of us can downplay our achievements and what we've done well and overemphasise where we are still trying our best to improve as 'failures', which they are not, but only 'work-in-progresses'. It helps to develop more realistic self-compassion with a healthily balanced compass to improve each day. I highly recommend turning it into a prayer to the Gods/your Guardian as the page states in the second paragraph 🙏 and with lots of honesty and vulnerability about what you are going through.

Thank you so much NG Astrid. I will definitely see what I can do to incorporate some of this so things improve with my mental health, I will focus on revamping my meditation routine and establishing more stable power and mental strength, and decompression from the stress and things I am dealing with. 🙏

I disagree with Astrid, do not confide in your wife she is not your mommy, she is your lover. You can tell her how you're feeling but do not turn it into a therapy session. She is not responsible for your emotional state as you are not responsible for hers. Build attraction with her instead and seek professional help or find better ways to deal with stress. Go out with some buds or find something you enjoy.

This is a very solid point, I will see what i can do, to do things differently to yield results, thank you my friend.

As for relocation, this may have to be longer term, but I appreciate the suggestion.

I, too, am dealing with my wife's health issues, so I can relate. This is a tough time in history, no doubt, and I wish I had a good answer, but I don't. I am assuming you are in the US. Have you thought of immigrating to a stable country in South America? Many 3rd world countries need technical people, especially English speakers, and you might do well. Anyone trying to raise a family in today's economy has my respect.

Ideally I would want to relocate to many other nations, and I don't have a connection really to south America. I appreciate it though, and yes, I am in the US, and just trying to find my way currently with things as they are.

You're obviously an absolute unit and very good dad and husband. The sacrifices men have to make for their families often goes unnoticed, but the reward is your family living their lives care-free.

I know this may sound counter-intuitive, but take a break from spamming wealth workings and focus on increasing your spiritual power and mental control. Take 12 weeks or so, maybe less or more, and then get back at it. If you're getting no results, then your not powerful enough, oftentimes.

In addition, you may have to abandon what you're good at and instead try something that's in demand. Further, on the side you could perhaps build something with the skills you've acquired. Use an AI for workflow, brainstorming, step-by-step assistance, etc

Most of all, remember the Gods up high do favor you.

Blessings

I appreciate your advice and kind words, this means a lot. I will do what I can to reassess this situation and see what I can further do to change it, even if I have to get into a different industry that is more flexible, and just do Tech and AI for myself with a business remotely.

Thank you. 🙏

I understand it may look a bit different and I agree you are correct. Just it feels very crushing when it comes to the endless payments on vehicle repairs, and home repairs that add up quickly.

I make it work on my salary, but I cut very close anymore with a lot of aspects of life. Somehow I have managed, but it is getting a bit more difficult nowadays.

Thank you for your thoughts, I agree, just stress can make things sometimes appear a bit worse then they are.

Try doing repairs on your own or find a cheaper mechanic, absolutely avoid big brand stores or the dealership they rob you blind.

Hello brother,

I am sorry to hear you are dealing with such a heavy load and very little on the side of a support system. I don't know what state you live in , but if you are in the united states have you looked into medicaid?

They can help with covering healthcare, dental and in home support services for your wife and children, if they meet the criteria. That would lighten some current stress and worry, considerably.

There are a ton of resources out there to help situations like yours, to give you that help back to solid footing.

As for school debt/loans, i completely understand, i just signed up for that myself last year and am in school for the third time in my life. I know it's a valuable investment in myself and my future...sometimes its worth it. Plus, they usually defer your loan payments until after you have graduated. the interest rate is reasonable.

Im pulling for you and ask that the Gods guide you as you make those steps and take those actions to improve your quality of life ❤️

Hail Zeus ⚡️ the Gods want our elevation in life as much as we do, if not more!

Thank you, fortunately my wife and kids are taken care of with some of the services and things they need, the issue is more so since I have many vehicle repairs, home repairs, and in regards to just the cost of life it sometimes gets very overwhelming and nearly unmanageable.

I will see what sort of changes and positive trajectory I can get into for things to improve a bit better, thank you my friend. 🙏

"The fall unlocks the flight".

My brother I feel for your troubles, everything in the system is designed to keep you from your power. I will tell you, you need to seriously adjust the attitude of your mind. Stop focusing on the negative and think good things ARE happening to you. As a Zevist your thoughts are way more powerful than that of an average person. It is not just the thoughts you are thinking but the FEELING behind them too. Your thoughts and feelings are actively creating the reality you are perceiving. In your position I would do rituals to gods that focus on wealth and ask them to lead you to work. You have been with the temple a long time, you are holding it all together still, you are more than capable to over the challenges you are facing.

If you are not doing yoga, absolutely start immediately. Kundalini Yoga in particular can help shake off those old feelings and thought patterns.

For your dentistry try this Dr Ellie Phillips Mouth Care SytstemExternal ↗ I have been using this for a few months now and have had some serious results. Pockets shrinking and gums starting to heal and look pink again. Plague starting to be removed and teeth looking noticeably whiter. My parents never took me to

the dentist so my mouth has been in pretty bad shape.

Now for the main issue, Your Identity. Everyday preferably twice a day. When you rise and before going to bed, try to relax as much as possible. The deeper the trance the better. During these moments picture your ideal self/life. What do you look like? How are you feeling? What sort of things are you seeing, touching, smelling? The more sensations you can imagine the better. If you want a better job how do you picture that? What does the day to day operation consist of? You absolutely must create a new identity around who you are. Are you a man who is struggling to keep it all together to find more income? Or are things going your way and life is a fun adventure to you explore? You will not change the things you are doing and having if you do not first change who you are BEING. When you change how you are behaving at the identity level the rest of your life will follow. This can be challenging in the beginning because your old identity will try to stay(karma). But you have the power of the gods on your side stay close to them and they will be besides you every step of the way.

Life is always like this. There is no reason to think always, that this is reflective of anything deeply inner, like one's inner world or a message. It can be, but not always. Life is hard; people will get sick. We will experience loss, pain, misery; there will be days where it will be hard to put food on the table, and times we don't want to end that are positive.

And then life goes forward. What's the meaning of this, is to make everything worthwhile. Even times of difficulty, represent opportunity for growth. Life generally tries to tell us what we must improve and where we are wrong, what we don't know; to learn it, to improve. Then something else will happen. One cannot always take it to heart, although in certain times we might get beaten to the ground. Just seek to get up and focus on the Gods. Life is full of perils.

May the Gods bless us to go through all the difficulties in life. In some there is no end. The blessing of the Gods is a warrior heart that does not give up and tries to learn. On this courage, we can build by determination our skills, our capacities. And this tells us that we can keep fighting; not that the battle ever ends. There is rest in between, and this time is the important time to sit and truly take it in.

It's normal we can't always solve everything for everyone, sometimes not even ourselves. But what's also normal, is that a Zevist should never give up. From the amount of resolve, I can tell that you are far from rock bottom or giving up.

On objective things, the only thing that is the case, is either to look for a better job, or to develop new skills to land a new one.

You should be really proud of yourself also, you're taking care of everyone the best you can - do not attack yourself with more "self blame", focus entirely on practical solutions. On all other ends, I wouldn't see anything to accredit to you as a wronghood. Only the opposite. With a lot of blessings brother.

Head Guardian Sophiles Phylax

In my opinion, what HP said here really defines the situation: "You should be really proud of yourself also, you're taking care of everyone the best you can - do not attack yourself with more "self blame", focus entirely on practical solutions. On all other ends, I wouldn't see anything to accredit to you as a wronghood."

You should look at yourself within the context you are in. Supporting others whilst also having health issues is a win. Maintaining your income under economic conditions which are objectively tough is a win. Finishing spiritual work for the problem (which takes both physical energy, time, and skill) is an investment and a win.

So the overall situation, from certain perspectives, or the perspective of the energy you have left over, can look bad, but it doesn't reflect the actions you took. You are low on energy after supporting a family, your job, and your spiritual work, not low on energy after doing nothing. There is a big difference here.

If I have to offer some advice, it is to always go to a basic and easy form of yoga for immediate, physical energy. Once one has some energy to spare, then they can support a larger activity, such as a larger routine, or a full Gods' ritual for additional energy return. Go to Ares or Raum for physical energy, keeping in the mind the difference between them.

If you are in a state of physical collapse, do something like basic Qigong, the breath of fire, or hold an acupoint. Once stabilized, do the ritual for Ares.
