By far the most common (and dangerous) mistake is when they tell others that they are Zevists and then lose all their friends, get kicked out of their house, have their parents drag them to churches and psychologists (if they live with their parents), lose their jobs e.t.c. and some of them blame Zevism for doing that to them instead of themselves making the mistake of telling everyone about it. You should obviously keep it to yourself because in our culture they view you as "evil" if you tell them you're a Zevist.

The second most common mistake is when new people rush to do the dedication ritual or immediately jump to summon a Demon after learning about Zevism, in expectation of getting a quick contact from Satan or the Demons or an immediate improvement over their lives. When they find nothing of that scale happens, they get disappointed, complain and/or leave Zevism. The mistake here is they assume they will immediately contacted by Satan if they do the dedication just because very few astrally open people did get contacted, so they rush to do it, when the dedication is an important and permanent ritual that you should do only if you are totally sure that this is the path for you and you should take as time as you need to make sure. The same with summoning a Demon, you should not do it unless you are experienced and astrally open and have something you need help with that you can't do on your own and you're not doing just to see if it works or have someone to talk to. Getting contacted by any being in the way that many astrally open people describe has to do with awakening your astral senses, which can take a long time for the average person.

The same precaution as above: if you live with others or non-Zevists visit your house often, don't put any sigils, Satanic symbols or any symbols that the christians can mistake as "Satanic" (even the point up pentagram has been called "Satanic" by christians). Or place them in a specific dedicated room in which you keep to yourself and not all over your house.

Crystals can be used for magickal purposes, but they are indirect and require an extra item so they are rarely used. There are better ways to use magick than storing energy in crystals, simply by directing the energy and programming it yourself.

I saw a video of some guy that picked up a quartz crystal and claimed it was talking to him. I use to be a skeptic towards all this stuff but that's until I came across TOZ and experimented with some of the rituals and meditations and noticed "energy" flowing all throughout my body and room.

Hi. I think everyone gets to live a different path because of their level or state of being at that particular time, But Generally since we all are in this planet and the enemy energies influences are in the air; Common issues are like

1. Being Confused or doubtful of the path sometimes because of enemy naggings.

2. Pain and worry and fear and guilt Due to Dirt leaving the soul when cleaning yourself.

3. Doing too much of meditation or too little of meditation which slows down advancement.

4. Doing Magickal workings which are a waste of time or not really important for advancement.

5. Not understanding the Gods due to pre conceived ideas and notions from enemy programmings.

6. Self doubt in the path and one's own powers hence not living up to one's full potential.

7. Lack of enough experience.

Yes You can set up an altar and put sigils. I am making a beautiful art of all sigils of the Gods. And will display it on my wall.

Crystals can be used. But emphasis is growing the energy of the soul. This is where power lies. Crystals can be used to store energy.

I doubt the quartz talking. But they can store good amounts of energy that can be used later on.
