You're taking this too literally. We are his children because he and the other gods genetically engineered us. Not literal children by having him as a literal father. He is our spiritual father though.
In a way yes and no but like in the normal sense..... We were made in some forgotten lab some where lost to time by the gods sounds like assassins creed Valhalla/ series lol
