so one of my family members (great aunt) just died and she was catholic, she really meant a lot to me but the fact that she is now dead and she died believing in catholicism, is she suffering in the afterlife? I would like to know because its been really bothering me.

The Gods don't care what fairytales humans believe, they care about their actions in life and whether those were righteous or not, and if the stupidity of a person are justifiable (ie., the person didn't know any better and is unprepared for the truth).
