What about visualization and vibration when doing aura protection? Do I do it directly to my aura itself (I do it now) or do I create a new aura layer on top of my aura and program it for aura protection?

I imagine it as a layer around my aura, not as part of my aura. The energies might get jumbled up especially if you are doing multiple workings / protections on your aura itself.
