Take at the macro level, what is written in the ToZ. The effects of a Uranus in the first house, are multiple and not the same for everyone, and it also depends on everything else in the astrological chart.

It's not a critical degree so don't bother it too much.
Being a transcendental Planet, its effects are broad and affect entire generations though it's in the first House so it can be more personal. Look at the aspects that touch Uranus for more infos.
In general if it has negative aspects you don't need specific workings to offset those, daily meditation will suffice.
