The R is rolled by default, but it can also be not rolled when you are not able to roll it. Correct vibration pitch and tone are more potent than incorrect and result in chakra activation and so forth.

The unrolled R Raum used to open the Solar Chakra is different and has a slightly different pitch than the regular Raum. HPS Pythia instructed NOTExternal ↗ to roll the R when opening it for a good reason.

Also, like the H in Haum, G in Gaum and L in Laum, it is meant to come from the back of the throat. Note how the Sacral Chakra, 6th Chakra, Middle Chakra and Crown Chakra opening mantras, on the other hand, come from the front of the mouth.

Sanskrit has two R and two L letters, possibly this relates to the original pronunciation of those.

L from back of the mouth? How do even do that? The only L I know is english L... Unless I misunderstood what you're saying
