oils are horrid and are behind the cause of most heart problems. And general oil they use in the fryers in many cases turns the food into a molecule away from plastic. A lot of the fryer oil used in N.America is banned in many parts of Europe. Infact the Europeans are a testament to how bad "food" over here is. Most N.Americans are fat where the French and Germans alone eat a diet that by the testiment of the diet "experts" over here should have them all dragging a triple chin combo and rolls along with major health problems. Yet they are slim and in good health.

Good to hear that Brian :D
Heck, guess I'll join the discussion. I use only lard in kichen, both for frying and baking so no veg oils. I don't eat fruits and very little of vegies. By very little I mean very little according to the opinions of "experts". This is basically half a potato a day and maybe a tomato or a cucumber if I feel like it :) And that's it. All the rest, which is majority, like 80% of my meals, are: fat and meat. The fatter the better. Not to mention tons of eggs (5 - 6 a day, sometimes more). Thanks to that I managed to loose 20kg over a few months, slowly but steadily. I feel great, have enough energy to be awake the whole day (and sometimes even night) and I eat twice a day lol (five a day, what a bullshit). My only problem is that I seem to have an unexplained craving for sugar so this is something I have to fight (eating sugar is out of the question, though I sometimes give in and then suffer - I overheat and feel really sick).Looks like my will isn't as strong as I thought it is...Still, there's no way I could ever go back to the way I was eating - fruits, vegetables, tons of sweets and on top of that, fat too (mostly from ready to eat crap). To drink? Water only - that's the best wine :D Sometimes a beer if I feel like it but rarely xD

Where i live organic stuff is always more expensive however local yeah I didn't even think of that I think it is more affordable there are a few places around here that sell local food.

Try coconut milk! Really good for the lymphatic system/digestion in my experience. Or almond milk. You'd be surprised.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: Forums Contributor
