Hello everyone!!!
I wanted to share this wonderful artwork with you all! I worked on it all day today.
I must thank OhNoItsMook for their advice in a separate topic about art. Thanks to them I ended up drawing exactly what I saw in my imagination!!!
Greetings, Lightning-Wings.
This is awesome. I am strongly impressed by the vertical composition and coloring, the festive atmosphere, and of course the Satanic symbolism! You might not know it yourself, but your illustrations possess a real sense of soul, in the sense that the feelings that inspire you to create them are actually tangible. I feel a pleasant form of emotional warmth from this, and I specifically admire the brighter, orange decoration with the bluish hue in certain areas.
I have been observing your drawings since you drew Lady Astarte, and wanted to say that I am very surprised about your rapid progress. Even more, it fills me with a great sense of happiness knowing that my art thread managed to provide such positive influence for you. In a way, I almost feel somewhat part of your illustrations, as I can see in which areas you've incorporated my advice, haha.
As for your hand, I dearly hope the best for your recovery. Although I haven't updated my thread in some time, one of the next pieces of helpful information I planned to add in the next post there, might actually assist you in your current situation, so I'll briefly convey it to you now. In summary, you don't have to let your creativity and expressive ability go by the wayside! Since art is mainly the expression of our mind, soul, and emotions, the physical aspect of drawing is only the active catalyst of the previous elements.
Meaning, you can actually improve in art just by feeding your creativity in general, through visualization, imagination, arousing inspiration through movies, games, media, et cetera. If drawing was like driving a car, the aforementioned would be like the fuel, specs, manufacturing, design, everything! Keep those aspects of art and creativity going, and you will undoubtedly experience an incredible liftoff once you're physically able to draw again.
I sincerely wish you the best in your creative endeavors, Lightning-Wings, and dearly hope to see more of your vivid creations in the future!
