Chart reading is not so hard in regards to getting a basic understanding of it. Most of the learning comes through memorizing the basic terms, which allows you to make larger conclusions easier. Although it may be annoying, I believe it necessary for everyone to have at least a rudimentary knowledge of astrology.

If you need a quick answer, I would suggest looking at online chart readings, which will at least point you in the right direction in terms of where to look in your chart. Then you can cross-reference this with the ToZ material on those areas.

As far as your career path goes, you may have a couple of different talents across your whole chart. Generally, your career path would accommodate as many of these as possible, although that is not always necessary. A good place to start is to focus on the planet, their signs, and the house they are in. This should give a solid indication of your abilities, without being too complex that you cannot understand.

Look at all of the following:
What sign is the Midheaven (MC) in. Start with the keywords describing this sign to give you a general idea.
Next, look at the 10th House, which is the house of career. What planets are in it?
They deeply influence the social destiny of the native. Analyze from the planets' keywords. And what areas they rule. This will tell you the likely areas in which you will practice.
If there is no planet in the 10th house, look at the ruler of the 10th house, namely Saturn. In what sign is Saturn located? This can tell you what kind of field you will be working in.
You should also look at the planets that are in aspect to the MC and the fixed stars (in conjunction or in opposition with the MC with an orb of 2 degrees maximum)

Then the 11th house shows among other things how we can earn money. The sign where the cusp of the 11th house is located will inform you about the field (you have to look at the fields ruled by the sign).

Then, if you are still young, you should look at Mercury as a factor of communication and learning abilities. It will be especially important to identify the potential and the difficulties. Which sign is Mercury in? Does it suffer from bad aspects? Aspect with fixed Stars ? Etc

Then, in the same state of mind, look at the House 3 - House 9 axis which is the axis of studies, intellect, reflection, communication, social integration. It is necessary to look in which signs. Are the cusps of the 3rd House and the 9th House. See the keywords related to these signs.
Then you have to look at the rulers of the signs of the 3rd House and 9th House. For example, if the 3rd House has its cusp on Cancer, look at which sign the Moon is in, as well as the aspects with the other planets.

Next, look at the 6th House, which represents daily life and constraints. It gives an idea of the framework in which we may have to evolve every day, vocation or not. In which sign is the cusp of the 6th house? See the keywords attached to the sign. Are there any planets in this 6th house? Look at the keywords of these planets.

I also look at the Lunar Nodes, the South Node can indicate where you had skills in the past, the North Node shows where it would be wise to go. That can give you some indication.

I look at the Part/ Lot of Fortune. What sign, what house it's in. If there are conjunctions, the other aspects.

Finally it can be useful to look at the 7th house (and cusp of the Descendant), which is certainly the house of the marriage partner but is also the house of the partners (commercial contracts, etc.). Which sign, which planet in it, ? etc.

I have been learning Astrology for several months, but I am not a specialist, if I am wrong, advanced members will correct me. I'm just giving some guidelines!

Other placements that could also provide some information about this subject would be Venus, which deals with money; Saturn which deals with career; Jupiter which deals with higher education; Mercury, which also deals with education and the North Node which which is of fate and could perhaps also provide some knowledge. Look where Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn and Sagittarius are placed and you also get an idea of how these thematics could manifest. These are the natural rulers of the above houses.

The chart ruler(s) show the strongest influences within your soul and could also provide some information.

Fixed stars can also provide some knowledge of fated career.

There are probably more placements to look into, but these can give you an idea of where to get some information from in regards to your career, you will see that you already know which of these careers you enjoy most, but by looking at it from an Astrological perspective you can see which ones have the strongest influence and are more favourable for you.

10th house is what suits you or your attracted to so far as your career or in general your public persona or reputation even if you don't have a career and the Father.

Look to the sign your 10th house is in and the planet that rules that sign where is it what house is it in what kind of aspects does it have etc (obviously you don't have to post this here and probably shouldn't) this tells you the area of life you may want to seek out a career in where this planet is. Also is there a planet here that may also help shape all this or mess it up depending on what the planet is and aspects.

Next is the second house where you make money. The 8th house is where you could get money from others. Both may be useful in choosing a career. Ideally you might want to connect to this in some way. What planet rules these houses. Is there any planets in these houses what kinds of aspects etc.

The 6th house is the work environment or more meanial jobs not really a career thing I don't think. Some people mentioned this.

Anyways try to find something fitting this nicely.
Also check the condition of stuff squares and/or working on karma related to it in freeing the soul workings can only help you.

Because there is some truth to the example i gave, although i changed some things, i do have a lot of houses empty in my chart

More advancement in astrology comes in being more spiritually open and advanced in general. More psychic, so to speak. That will allow you to understand better what is relevant and what is not, what is predominant, etc. People can try all they want to crack astrology in a left-brained way, but they'll never manage it because that's not how spiritual sciences work. All the logical framework is already available at the foundation level. What's left is awareness of the energies.

In interceptions you look at main ruler first in this case Uranus then the other rulers Saturn Jupiter Neptune. That is if it's fully enclosed in the sign.
If one sign is on house cusp yet most of other sign is in the house yet not fully enclosed it doesn't matter unless there is a planet there.
