Active HelperWork on your Root Chakra and do physical activity to feel more grounded. I know you said crystals don't help, but I've found that Black Tourmaline is actually a great grounding crystal.

I think, Planets may express themselves in many ways but you can somehow "choose" how to employ the Planet's Energies.
Neptune is related to many things including Meditation, Psychic abilities, Empathy, Waters and Ocean, Art and so on.
If you don't take any action related to Neptunian Energies, those will express in you in random ways like the one you describe letting you feel lost, numb or floating in a way.
If you engage yourself and your lifestyle in Neptunian ways you will "accomodate" Neptunian energies in you. Like hanging a picture of the Ocean to one of your walls or be more close to Meditation, in terms of way of life, trying to be empathic with others, and the such.
If you "refuse" your Neptune trying to be the opposite of it, you may let Neptunian energies affect you in random ways.
