Can I somehow focus on the bottom and top, but not on the sides, so as not to hurt people with the absorption of energy, and is it possible to concentrate in a different way, it is very difficult for me, I do not understand how to do it correctly and safely, there are too few instructions. Can I just look at the object and absorb the energy with my attention, or do I need to switch the hemispheres?

Don't worry about that unless you have someone in the same room as you, especially infants, elderly, or the sick.
Absorb like a sponge everywhere with each inhale. Feel it—don't visualize and don't change the instructions. Practice makes perfect.
You are absorbing pure energy, not necessarily the energy of any specific thing around you.

Absorbing energy doesn't hurt other people because the energy comes from the ether, not living beings. Only if you specifically target a living being does the energy comes from it. The mind directs the entire thing.
And as said above, you just imagine you are like a sponge and absorb energy from everywhere at once.

Breathing also absorbs energy from the ether, together with the oxygen. With this exercise it's the same thing, you just do it consciously and more powerfully. If every time we absorbed energy we hurt other people then we shouldn't breathe at all!

But there is also etheric energy, as well as other subatomic particles, how can I distinguish them and fill them?
