The Sun rules vitality and forms of vigor. If you are talking about athletics, it is a reference to the nature of Mars. Mars spiritual squares work on your self. The material squares of Mars can get you enrolled in a good gym or things like that in the purely material field. And yes, Sun is for eyesight.

To enpower a debilitated Sun, Spiritual Square. For material pursuits, a material Sun Square. Using both the Sun and Mars energy together are the best options for physical training from one viewpoint, other planets help in various other ways.

I have a good Mars placement, just the Solar energy is very badly afflicted in relation to the physical body.
And I know Sun is for eyesight, but will both material and spiritual be approptiate? Since healing relates to the soul.
