Every time I donate my energy, seconds later I yawn, does that mean it worked?

If you perform the steps to donate energy, it works. The number of any yawns is irrelevant. Thank you for your contribution, the Gods will really appreciate it :)

You yawning does not have any attribute to if the energy donation worked, but I myself when giving energy do tend to feel tired. Tired or light feeling usually comes from deep meditation or energy giving and is completely fine. Thank you for your contribution, the God's appreciate it always !
Yawning is usually a physiological sign that your brain is adjusting to new altered states such as certain trance states, which is normal during meditation and when performing magick. This will pass with time as your body adapts.
It can be a good idea to balance your energies through the Sun and Moon meditation after giving energy. This will also provide a small boost, which is ideal. All in all, thank you for the contribution. I am sure the Gods are pleased!
Sounds good but if I may, I prefer the term "tributing" energy or providing an "offering", donation sounds weird in the context of the Gods; we tribute and make offerings to our Gods meanwhile the term donation has charitable connotations that do not apply to our superiors as it is they who are charitable to us, we are the receivers of their blessings what we provide in return is frankly meagre.
I know you mean no harm by it, but proper language is important in order to show proper respect and these things may seem small, but they show the Gods that you have good grasp on the proper means of conduct when interacting with them and that goes a very long way and the Gods do expect respectful and mindful conduct, those such as Plato and Aristotle speak on the importance of mindful conduct at length.
Imagine if you were a king and a peasant offered to "donate" something to you to show gratitude, its a nice gesture but poorly worded, a tribute or a gift is a better way to phrase it.
Not flaming, just trying to help, it does make a difference.
Please make sure you are not over-exerting yourself.
