Yes it does. Some people even have 3. Sometimes the GD you meet in the beginning you may find that another God steps forward to take over as the GD you met in the beginning gets busy.

Yes you can have two GDs but it is kinda rare. Your GD can change as well. If you think a Demon is your GD best thing to do would be asking them if they are really your Guardian or not.
