Why do Pagans worship deities? Why not just worship nature and learn from it, rather than worship deities? Isn't worshipping deities just adding an unnecessary ontological layer to an otherwise beautiful sensitivity to, and reverence of, nature? Shouldn't Pagans just cut out the middlemen and middlewomen (i.e. the deities) and just get straight to the point by worshipping nature? Just curious.

I searched a question on google, and found someone asking this question.

Man is a part of Nature, eternally connected with, and ruled by Nature.
We are from birth required to look up to others in order to obtain enlightenment, of self, of purpose, of reason.
In giving worship to deities that represent the Natural order, the highest truths, Satya.
We create an image in our mind of the "perfect human being", naturally again, we will obtain enlightenment.
We cannot learn fully how to be a Human from a Bear or a Tiger.
Only from other Humans can we learn truly what it means to be human.

One might become confused, they will see this or that and find it personally appealing.
Emulating a criminal, thief, lier, lazy, etc.
They will see some valuable traits, persistence, determination, passion, independence, etc.
They might set this individual up as their own "Deity".
How common has this become today!!

This is where the importance of Meditation, self reflection, philosophy, a worship of Truth above all else.
Even if the Truth leads to destruction, which it will in many forms.
But out of this destruction, the Phoenix will be reborn, Enlightened by Truth.
This will reconnect the Human to the Divine Natural Order.

The mind is foolish to have forgotten that it was born from Nature.
Discipline your mind with Truth!

We worship deities because, they are example for us, the beings who have mastery over universe. How one would be able to reach this mastery without any help by worshipping nature, okay survival and something out of blue may be created, but would that one know what he/she is even doing, where going in life?
Even by worshiping nature we worship all deities, because their hand is in everything. How once consciousness expands trough all universe when kundalini is risen, they are everywhere the same way.
If one wants to navigate life right way, only and only what should be worshipped, is those beings who are masters of this, because otherway how one would know what to do in order to be like them, in order to control their lifes like that.

I came to realize last night, perhaps I was never truly in "possession" of this Physical body. If the Sun should burn up this Earth, my Body would be retaken by the forces of Nature. My atomic and molecular makeup is defined by the greater movements of the universe, primarily.

Yes, I do have consciousness, and through action, I may direct the actions of this Physical being. But this Physical body will always be at the mercy of its surroundings, tied up with the Forces of the universe.

Now I consider, Am I truly in possession of my mind? How easily could someone ask me a question, and my mind will instantly follow. They could tell me a story, and I would create an Image in my mind. If my body is thirsty, it will demand to me, DRINK WATER! and I must obey or the universe will reclaim this body.

Surely, there is a more powerful being that does have the capability to direct my Mind to its own Will. This is quite obvious and well documented by the use of Propaganda to affect entire populations. How our ancestors set up Symbolism to direct the greater will of Man towards a higher purpose.

I cannot claim to be truly in control of Mind or Body.
They are more thoroughly dominated by the forces of the Universe.

We are part of nature forces, same these forces are part of us, we are extensions of universe same as it’s forces are extensions of ourselves. This is where we are climbing in life, towards going with nature, and exercise it to the extent we are capable of at that moment, with purpose to make it all better, to explore it so that we would be capable more to do with it, and to participate in creation of it.

Yes you are in possession and control of your body. Thinking otherwise is a great way to unground yourself.
Just because there may exist a strong force that could hurt you does not mean you do not exist. Don't forget that natural forces are not conscious in the same way that we are.

Look at the base chakra/Saturn and Nauthiz rune: It's purpose is to teach us to sense reality and operate in this world alongside natural obstacles and forces. Saturn wants you to be acknowledge what is around you, but also not simply give up and flop over just because something may oppose you.

These ideas are to be BALANCED with the lessons taught by the crown chakra/Pisces/Neptune/Laguz, which show us the laws of cause and effect of natural forces, through our sensitivity. In other words, this is why someone with high Neptunian characteristics may feel totally overcome by the world around them, because they are sensing this too greatly.

The overall message of the balance and PAIRING of the base and crown chakras is to both acknowledge the world around you, but also work alongside this and continue to grow and advance. Without Neptune we lose our ability to dream and sense the future. Without Saturn we get overwhelmed by our senses and give up.

Nature and the Gods gave us the potential of creating Sovereignty over Fate?

I read somewhere, I believe Satan stated, The constellations prostrated before him until he became ascended.
We being made in his image, our Soul, having access to superior spiritual abilities to be the Masters of the Universe.

So in truth, I may be bound in this time and place, but I do have the ability to obtain dominion over my fate, claimance of Destiny. This being the manifestation of Nature, in alliance with Concious Existence, Inheritance from Satan.

Yes, of course. We are the same as Gods. The main difference is that we are so far behind that we are never realistically going to catch up to them, but all the same nonetheless.
