In the Orobas ritual, I meditated on his sigil. He helped me out with a matter that had been bothering me for a while.

It is difficult to recall what exactly happened in this instance. I can relate the situation here, briefly.

To sum it all up, there was someone who was bothering me for a very long time. It's not the usual physical harassment, but it goes deep into emotional and psychic types of harassment. A mage, who was never my friend, had access to my energy. Let's just say the gods say to guard your heart and be careful about who you make connections to. Guard your secrets well lest someone use them against you!

I had been dealing with this person for years due to a mistake I had made in my foolish youth. I tried many approaches. Tried all kinds of cleaning and severing ties. Tried to make sure I strengthened myself. The journey led through all kinds of darkness and despair: deep dark secrets held in the past. There is a power to be had from investigating the past and knowing who you were, and who you were with, and what you did, and why you did things the way you did.

Some people cling to a past that no longer applies. The world is so different now.

I suppose to wrap things up a bit: sometimes you can't deal with a situation until you understand deeply the wherefore's and the why's. Sometimes the situation is so deep in the self that you cannot resolve something until you excavate deeply into the dirt and grime to uncover what's going on.

I think this person will no longer be bothering me. Orobas made it very clear whose protection I was under.

So I want to take some time to thank him.

Also, do not be overly discouraged if there are persistent situations that are bothering you. Some things take time and a lot of effort to resolve. Some times the gods observe situations to see how people develop, and to allow growth from the struggle. Some problems are literally buried in the soul and need to be dealt with before a problem can be resolved. All kinds of wounds are buried.

If a situation has you at your wits end, it doesn't hurt to ask for help or advice. The resolution can lead to awareness, which leads to more solutions, that lead to more awareness. My particular situation turned into a vast cycle of cleaning, dealing with and healing wounds, cutting ties, gaining information, and moving forward that lasted for years.
