I'm seeking a little bit of assurance from the more advanced during some difficult transits for me. I understand that this is the time when I should definitely keep my energies high, but even just raising the energy for daily maintenance leaves me feeling overstimulated, restless, and anxious, and I'm not entirely sure about what my options are for remaining grounded that won't stimulate me even more. I didn't start this way, but now I feel almost nerotic about the prospect of irreversibly damaging myself with ungrounded hypotheticals. I guess I'm just looking for someone to tell me that I'm not going to burst into flames if I overstimmulate myself by the slightest amount.
 
If it is only a matter of grounding, I recommend cleaning the lower chakras, especially the base chakra, this is what helps me personally. the base chakra brings you a sense of security and awareness

I dont quite understand the issue at hand I believe.

It is very important to listen to your mind, body and soul. When you do not feel comfortable and over stimulated, it is a good idea to step back a bit, and turn down the volume of your meditations.

Sometimes, when you open certain parts of the soul, it can also be feeling like, you are being over stimulated. And this is even true.

When this happens, it is a good idea, to tune in, and let it flow freely. Do not fight it, and do not empower it.

Do you have any symptoms that are manifesting? Like being unable to stand stil, and being very shaky etc?

If so, try to calm down the energies and areas that are causing this. Not with force but let it flow.

If you are unable to do so, I personally recommend not to do power meditations to empower those „instabilities“.

If you are just having insecurities with the Problem and no acute issues, then working on the lower chakras can really help here, esp the base.

Do yoga, aura of protection and program your aura every time to “my aura completely keeps me calm and safe” or in the way that you choose. Breathing exercises can also help; high-quality concentration on breathing oxygenates the brain and helps you stay more focused on specific tasks.
 
More directly, I don't feel confident in determining whether the symptoms I experience mean that I should continue through them or if I should stop. I read a lot that it's normal for some symptoms to come up when you start empowerment, but I'm at a point right now where everything just seems to leave me feeling overstimulated in a way that doesn't feel healthy. (more like a regression than advancement) I'm definitely in a period where I don't feel comfortable with how I'm feeling, and my instinct is certainly to stop. If that means I should take a break from empowerment, what can I do to remain grounded that won't continue to stimulate me? I'd call it more restlessness than being unable to stand still, and a slight bit of shakiness, but not to a severe degree. Does this mean that I'm taking a break from everything altogether?
 
Okay, take a deep breath in, hold in for a moment and a deep breath out. Relax.

Often when we are stressed out in life, and keep pushing in meditations, the symptoms of shakiness, restlessness, and so can amplify.

Are you open to share somethings about your life and routine?
Also, are you stressed out right now in live?

Can you try to explain us, how you are feeling? And maybe a list with all of your symptoms and how / when they manifest?
 
I also recommend you use a gratidude journal. Each night you can write in it what you are thankful for that happened throughout the day.
 
Advancement comes trough pain and work. When you do physical workout correctly and especially when your muscles are not used to this, you will have muscle fever/pain but this is a good sign. Same with spiritual workout, you need to brake those barriers. But make sure you are doing the right amount, overstimulating in a larger amount is not okay.
