Question #990: Question for Experienced Astrologers about Pluto and Mars Retrograde

I have Pluto and Mars Retrograde in my Natal Chart and I want to know how I should be handling the energies of this and how to fix the issues its causing in my life. Pluto and Mars rule Scorpio and I have scorpio on the cusp of my 4th house and also have pluto placed in my 4th house as well. My home life has been total chaos my entire life and also my mother has been a dominating, abusive and controlling individual and she seems to always be in the way of my affairs in life.
In the astrology section it says that people who have pluto in the 4th house can sometimes obtain positions of power or authority in life and I wonder how so? How can I manipulate the energies of my chart to bring myself to a powerful position in life and get rid of all the abusive stuff I have to deal with? Also mars retrograde has made me feel less masculine and competitive and because of that I feel like I always have low energy/self esteem/and worthless as a man.
How do I fix the energies of retrograde planets in my chart? Pluto doesn't have a square but Mars does but mars is currently in Cancer.

For a Mars square you have to wait until October, meanwhile you can do a Sun square to empower your vitality. You can use it to improve your Mars as well, cause the energy of the Sun can be used to improve other planets qualities.

Pluto is very difficult to deal with. First try to improve the areas of life touched by its influence, for example a Lunar square to strengthen the fourth house. Look at your chart to see aspects between Pluto and the other planets and act consequently.
