Question #3224: earth signs - an important doubt

I have uranus ,neptune retrograde in capricorn (cardinal earth sign),,waning moon in taurus (fixed earth sign) ,and mars in virgo (mutable earth sign) ..why do I lack focus in my studies??

Neptune and Uranus in the signs, unless they are rulers/co-rulers, have no influence on you. Also, your Natal Chart is not going to do the work for you. There's something called free will. If you decide to be distracted it's on you. Work to improve your focus.

Look at your mercury also. Is it retrograde, aspecting Uranus in some way or in Gemini or Aries? These are some examples of placements that can make someone not pay attention to detail or not finish what they start. If any of this counts for you you could benefit from a mercury square to help with concentration.

It would be a mistake to say they have no influence over you, as they are still valid energies with their own areas of influence. Is it possible you are confusing this with the influence within a generational perspective?

Everyone within a generation would have Neptune in the same sign, thus it would appear as no difference between each individual, however Neptune's placement in your chart would still manifest within your life, relative to you.

To the OP, Mercury and Jupiter are most relevant to studying, so evaluate these first, as well as the 3rd and 9th house. The Pluto in Sag generation can also have possibly arrogant or non-traditional views towards education, if this applies to you.

I looked at the title where he mentions "earth signs", and then he lists all his planets in earth signs, and he includes these two generational planets in the sign of Capricorn. These planets have no influence as far as their placement in the signs goes is what I meant (unless they're rulers). So personally I wouldn't include them as "more earth element" in the Chart. This last part is not something I'm 100% sure of though, what do you think JG Blitzkreig? Of course these generational planets in the houses, the aspects they form with other planets etc. have influence in the chart. I'm aware of that.

Virtually all my energy has been focused on clearing certain significant blockages and counteracting certain transits so I will not be available for this for sometime.
