...without paying more than 20 dollars in fees? :(

Even if I send a part of the donation first (and then send the second part of it), the charge is the same if not more.

Most wallets use MoonPay that makes these charges.

I also wanted to try Binance, but they don't accept my currency, believe it or not. So, what am I to do? I understand that 20 dollars is nothing compared to the cause, but if I can avoid this charge, I'll try to.

I just wonder if everyone pays big fees (when donating more money).

I use monero and the fees to send are low. I buy from www.localmonero.co - unfortunately the fees of the sellers are high, especially those who sell without asking you for your identity.

The fees are a certain percentage of the sum, so it makes the most sense to make one donation instead of multiple donations.

When you buy crypto, send the crypto straight from the wallet of the exchange to the recipient. This will result in less fees at the expense of privacy. And not all crypto are at equal for regarding the privacy to begin with. Bitcoin for example has an open block chain for anyone to inspect. It can be anonymous, but not private. These are not the same thing. Notice also that the wallets that are provided by exchanges and other external services are not ultimately yours. There are many options for using your own wallet that can be set up on your device and funds stored on your own wallet are ultimately your own. The above is to point out the fact that if an exchange goes under there is no guarantee to get back the funds. The same applies to scams by exchanges.

Other than that, you can use another crypto and or crypto exchange. Look for other cryptos than Bitcoin to use. Bitcoin has relatively large transfer fees at this point in time. If there are no good alternatives for your current currency at this point then you should probably just pay the fees and look for better opportunities later.
