I am unfortunately in a hard period of my life right now. I am in a difficult stem degree and I work full time. I have very limited time.

I am looking to fully open my chakras while I finish my degree. This way when I have more time I can contribute more to the JOS in a more advanced state. Exactly how much time would you recommend that I meditate on each chakra every day to fully open them up? I know this must be consistent for several years to open them fully. I don't want to do let's say 2 muninites of each chakra every day and make no progress in 3 years for example.

Progress is not an external and hidden thing, it is something you can witness and embody, which is why you need to have a flexible and organic approach to this, coupled this with your strict routines of life. These are not separated and your involvement in the spiritual will sustain you to be more efficient in daily life. 20 minutes to an hour overall per day is perfectly fine. Try to find your inner compass and judgment in this, it develops in time.

NakedPluto explained everything very well for you. I would just like to add that you can meditate during the day when you have some time to yourself, for example, during a break at work.

Good luck! :)

Having limited time, especially under these heavy circumstances, is definitely a burden, but not an impossible one.

Opening the chakras is a continuous process, and what the beginner definition of open refers to is just getting an energy flow through them. A more advanced definition involves pruning the larger karmic obstacles and dirt, and this is something you don't have to immediately concern yourself with.

Do the opening meditations as described, and simultaneous and after to this, continue to clean them well. Within a limited time span, continuous cleaning will go a long way at development and attainment of power.

Once the chakra opening is complete, then you can switch to basic forms of empowerment, such as spinning or vibrating mantras on the chakras. This will give another aspect of basic advancement and empowerment.

Although it can be difficult, concentration on this can somewhat substitute for void meditation, visualization, and astral sight, as you are engaging these whilst focusing on the meditation itself. However, as a beginner, you will want to find some separate time for this, such as 5 minutes.

Protection is also important. As you are time limited, you can chant a protective mantra while doing some basic computer work. This splits your attention and is not ideal, but is time efficient. You can chant Algiz while reading, and this will raise a decent amount of energy. Then you can stop and focus on directing this towards its defensive objectives. This is a basic element of protection from your soul from any negativity.

Similarly, you can use this method to raise a large amount of cleaning energy, like with the Surya mantra, which you then turn onto that area of your soul. Make no mistake: You won't generate as much power as if you were fully focusing, but at least you will generate more power than nothing.

Lastly, and not to overwhelm you, but balance of the soul needs to be considered. With time constraints, I would recommend alternate nose breathing. This goes a long way when done over time, and it can be done within the span of 5 or 10 minutes.

So, overall you are looking at perhaps 30-40 minutes, which you can space throughout the day. Although simple, it also hits all the basics, and in this way it can bring a degree of advancement that is stable and meaningful.

How loud do we have to vibrate the mantra Algiz for aura of protection? I have roommates and I can hardly ever use vibration when cleaning my aura because of my deep voice will travel. Will it still be effective if we whisper or speak it in a low tone?

It does not have to be loud. Yes, vibrate in a low tone, focusing on the sensation of the energy while it is being generated. Also, be mindful of the acoustics of your room; some areas will reduce more noise transfer than others, so you could sit there instead. To test this, you could play music/sounds on your phone, then go outside your room and see if you can hear it.

Ahh Yes thanks for the clarification now I know I can still vibrate instead of avoiding using mantras like I been. That is actually really smart idea I didn’t think about doing that testing the sounds from outside my room.
