Are our natal charts eternally tied to our souls, or are they only tied to our current lifetime? If not the latter, is there any correlation between our past lives and our natal chart, or is it random (as in the chart is unpredictable as if the soul decides when to reincarnate for their next life), because it would be statistically impossible for one to have the exact same chart every life, with the same planets in the same houses, etc. It seems more logical that our natal charts are different in every single life, but I want to know if there is a correlation, for example someone on Quora claimed that if one dies accidently, their Sun and Moon signs will swap positions in the next life, is this true?

Also similar question that I have, the website lists zodiacs for all of the Gods, how exactly does that work in relation to their divinity? How exactly did they attain their zodiac if they are eternal? If they aren't eternal, but were born with parents (as claimed by this site), they would have been born very long ago in different star systems very far away, how does our system of astrology apply to them? This ties into my first question on whether or not astrology is based on the soul or the incarnation, do Gods only take avatars that share their Zodiac?

Your natal chart will change slightly with each reincarnation depending on your actions in this life. Doing things like squares, workings, etc will also have an effect on this. And yes, past life trends can be revealed through the natal chart, among other methods.

The signs and so on change, but the Chart is usually the same in terms of Elemental distributions.

For example: someone with many planets in the 3rd House (air house) with Mars as their Chart Ruler, suddenly has Mars in Gemini as their Chart Ruler elsewhere. Someone with a Pisces stellium suddenly has Jupiter in Pisces on an Angle.

What changes depends on what one's fate is, what one chose to invest in or 'inscribe' in the past lifetime and how one was reincarnated, what one's destiny is in that lifetime.

The Quora person isn't completely 'wrong' but it's a lot more complicated than that. Sun and Moon swapping can be rare and tends to be more protracted than this.

What does not change? The degrees are ridiculously similar. The aspects are often eerily similar, creepily so, even if the quality (i.e. square or trine or whatever) changes.

The Moon often represents very important clues to who someone is throughout their lifetimes. It isn't the same sign-wise, but if you add it all together, the symbolism is revealing.

Usually the Ascendant is the same, but occasionally it isn't. Regardless, the Chart Ruler planet is USUALLY the same.

It isn't 'exactly the same', I don't know who started this idea but it is wrong. Hyper-advanced souls can of course choose to incarnate with a near-similar chart, but Pluto orbits for 248 years!
