What I meant was that an approach that is thorough and most likely to produce sustainable long-term effects regardless of the specifics is never based on forcefully making the people obey your logic no matter how sound it is without them understanding it and being properly motivated by the truth.

Also, as much as we admire Nazi Germany the solutions employed then and there are not fully applicable in today's circumstances.
