The world has its centre, it has its sun
Rays of shining gold, then silver on the moon
Day and night it lights up the sky
Watching from above with the stars so high
For a night a month there is no light
And the dark celestial calls and beckons
Look to another world, another sun
Just once a month see a different sun
When we face the brightest we seem so very dim
But in our world, the world of self
There is us: the sun, our light and a garden
We are the sun in this place that is hidden
So very precious and small
We are the warmth for it all
The dark celestial reminds us what lays inside
Is there enough light for the garden to thrive?
Enough water and minerals for these seeds?
Building the foundations as we please
Through fire or floods, how strong are the roots?
Dare not tread here with careless boots
She calls us deeper to nurture the light
For there’s a thousand gardens and more to grow
Spring then Summer, Fall and Slumber
The dark celestial sings another reminder
Patiently send away the stormy skies
When the grass yellows to grain
Then dance and chant it back once more
When the flowers are thirsty for rain
Unveil your light, make it brilliantly bright
And cease the pests that desire to feast
The garden needs her sun, and the sun his garden
What lays in your world that is hidden?
Rays of shining gold, then silver on the moon
Day and night it lights up the sky
