I have to write two finals during the Mercury Retrograde.

One is English, which includes essays, summaries, and rhetoric.

The other is psych, which includes multiple choice and short answer.

Any advice on how to approach this situation?

I think you will be ok as everyone has to undergo this situation alongside you, so this should reflect in the class average.
Otherwise, you can try to raise some energies, like Sowilo, and program it for success. Before Mercury goes retro, you could also try a simple Mannaz and Ansuz working, programmed to help you on those events.

Also, all your preparation is being done now. If you study well now, it is not like you will suddenly forget everything during the test.
