I recently tryed doing my non joga routine in the woods, it felt like I was better connected/ grounded.
It felt realy great, it was also much more easier to fokus. Well one has to find a spot without stinging insects.
I only can encourage people to try it out. Keep in mind your personal safety /anonymity.

I did that 2 years ago, and I loved it as well... weren’t it for those annoying mosquitoes.

It's pretty awesome, I usually go to a place near the river, I meditate inside my car, but all I hear there is the water and the birds, very relaxing. This is the best I can get in the city. I also love meditating in the beach, under the sun. It's really good. Never tried doing it in a forest, there are none nearby, but I hope to, someday, it must be really good

I agree, I think it has to do with interference from other people's energy and all the processes that are constantly in the background in big cities. You can eliminate most of that stuff away in a quiet forest.

You have to search for a place in the woods more away from water, mosquitoes are usually near lakes or swamps land.

Back when me and my family lived in forestry area I used to meditate outside every day and it was amazing, just as you described.

Now, because I moved to town again I have to meditate inside again.

I'd love to try that and go meditate in a forest; it must feel amazing. Though there isn't any decent place close to where I live, unfortunately, but what I like to do and try to "substitute" it, is to put on bird sounds from live-streaming channels. Of course it doesn't have the same effects but it quite helps me relax.

Worst thing I did one time was to meditate out side on a field, next to rail track....
Well after I fell into a light trance a train went by, and even hit the breaks...

I had such a headache and ache in my ears after that, so I qm perfectly cool with meditating at home during the night.

Stupid me for sitting down only 100m next to a rail track.
The risk I took was calculated, but man I suck at maths.

Regarding healing/meditating in a forest, I think it is better to do it in a forest, given nobody disturbs you and that no bloodsuckers are around. (Try to focus while you are hearing mosquitoes right next to your ear lol)

Esp for healing, the environment radiates with green, so this alone should help.

Just be careful there. I don’t think it is super safe for a girl to enter a forest where nobody will see her.

Good luck!

What about healing?
Have any of you healed in the forest?

When i was at our village, i meditated at the woods and tried to breath in some energy from the surroundings and program it to boost my "vitality". Probably because of the novels i read at the time, it looked reasonable. I didn't have any wounds when meditating so i didn't do any healing but next day when me and my cousins fooled around the woods, i got few cuts and bruises. I normally recover from wounds relatively quickly but that day it was way faster. Blood stopped spilling on their own in like %60 of time it normally would, at most in a hour every cut would turn into scar tissue. One of my cousins was studying to become a doctor so she got scared i develop some kind of cancer. In few days when we finally going back to city, most of wounds were almost completely gone. I got few medical scans after i got back to be sure. I was perfectly healthy.

Where i meditated was a place with rich nature. So there might be a connection to that. I may did what i did by pure chance but i think nature itself has strong healing properties. I couldn't go back to village to try it again because of (((covid))). When i get the chance i will try it again. I recommend it to everyone tho. Meditation in an environment like that is an entirely different experience.

Don't worry. I may not be tall, but I'm certainly not weak.

Oh this must hurt. I can relate here cause once I was at a beach next to a port, it was night and I was meditating, and all of a sudden a ship honked. Worst transition ever.

I'm sorry I laughed at that

Yeah it is mosquitoes ticks and fleas are little bastards. It's also hard to find a nice level rock to meditate on . Nice deep flowing rivers are really full of life though and having a nice day down with your friends swimming and catching fish probably makes it worth the ass pain of yoga on a rock.

Why would you want to do yoga only on a rock?
