I just wanted to post this after a recent observation I had in regards to Matching Energy and how harmful it can be.
Now I'm not saying you should allow others to abuse you or harm you, or even allow repeated disrespect towards yourself. But rather how you shouldn't let yourself become like the abuser by "matching their energy"
As spiritual Satanists we have the ability to use protection workings daily and returning curses. There is no need to lower yourself and match the negative energy of someone else who is being a jerk towards you.
I know it's not always easy, sometimes we talk ourselves into it by saying well I'll give them a taste of their own medicine and then they'll see etc or whatever it is you say to convince yourself of behaving like them.
But really all you're doing is adding more negativity into the situation. Let them be the one's behaving like fools, You as a Satanist have been blessed by the Gods with a better understanding of life and how the world is, and have much to do, and cannot afford to waste your energy or precious time on matching the Low negative energies of toxic people around you.
Perhaps the person who is spreading this negativity is suffering or hurting in some way and lashing out is a result. We don't know what other people are going through.
My point is, Getting worked up will do nothing. If they are a threat to you, your protection rituals and returning curses will take care of it so there's really no need to obsess over them or get hung up on their shitty behavior.
It's a symptom of the world we live in right now, and the only cure truly is for us to walk within the path of the Gods and learn from their lessons, To be a beacon of hope, to fight the enemy with all of that energy, where it truly needs to be directed to.
Don't be a pushover but also don't be like those who are without who take out their anger from a lack of understanding on those around them.
We can honestly say that we, as Satanists do know better. Just as an older sibling understands that their little brother or sister is young and doesn't know any better.
Look upon the others as children and have patience.
And concerning those who are filled with hate towards you and try to harm you, there are responsible and ethical ways to deal with them.
Returning curses, protection rituals, Rtrs, Advice from the community here and the guidance of the Gods.
All of the above can actually solve most issues, Just remember to practice these healthier choices rather than being provoked into matching their energy.
If You match their energy enough times you'll become as they are, and this is absolutely not what we are here to do.
You put out into the world what energy you partake in, and if it's good energy from the presence of the Gods in your life, and doing good in this world, you'll make the world a better place to live in.
