Nobody will ever tell you nano is an investment because it's scary and controversial to do so. But I will.
Nano is a good investment because it is scarce with no remaining emission. The most important feature for a nonproductive asset is that it is scarce and retains it quality over time. All the "its gambling" statements are wrong. Now, if you violate portfolio management and have 90% of your wealth in nano, you are taking absurd risks. Nano is the salt & pepper of your portfolio. 1-3% will do the trick and can actually reduce your portfolios variance and increase its sharpe ratio. You don't need much. Besides that logic, all the other features for what makes nano a good cryptocurrency are also relevant. From a store of value perspective nano does a better job than bitcoin, and its higher volatility is a boon because it means you can hold even less nano to get the same portfolio benefits. From the research and inquiry that I have done, I have concluded that nano is likely in the top 3 of best cryptocurrency assets by investability.
