How do you use Witches Sabbat period for purification ?

Hi there !

This period is coming. I'd like you to share how you use this period for purification. What do you do to clean your aura , chakras , etc. What runes/mantras do you use or used ? And tell me about the results please. I want to make the most out of this period, that's why I'm interested in other member's experience. Thanks in advance !

I’ve never actually made a lot of progress on any particular holiday instead I like to view each one as an opportunity to evaluate my progress and decide what I’m going to add or modify about my routine.

Progress is made over months at a time but a holiday is a wonderful opportunity to have a start date for a 40 day working or to add additional cleaning to your routine.

I’ll assume you clean your aura every day so I would suggest for the holiday you start doing it in the morning and before you go to bed, or perhaps start cleaning each individual Chakra before you do empowerment form now on.

There is one thing that I don't quite understand about this witches sabbat purification. It is said that the full cycle should be started on Friday or Saturday on the New moon ... But what is the new moon exactly ? Can 358° or 359° moon be considered a new moon ? Or only when it passes the point of 0°? The reason I'm asking because in my country on Friday night moon becomes NEW but it also becomes Void until Saturday 18:45 p.m. But at 18:45 p.m the moon is already 8° ... So, is this 8° moon still considered a new moon? Which is better , to start the cycle before the void of course moon on Friday night when the moon is 357-359° or after the void of course on Saturday at 18:45 p.m when the moon is 8° ?

It's funny O.P. you state it doesn't work or seems reduced in working.

I have the opposite problem it works but in a bad way. I noticed each time I do it Fri/Sat just the 2-day one not long 7-21.

I get very angry and annoyed and it bothers me a lot. I think I get the feeling that WS isn't for everyone. I understand the aspect of the soul cleansing/purification de-drossing.

I get it but I think Hp.Cobra might be right with the whole if you do perform high-rep up to 216 cleansing. Be sure to be on top of cleaning or else the dirt manifests or causes issues.

I think he is right maybe WS is causing dirt to pop up and your not removing a lot of it and it's causing issues. In my case I seem to get angry, I've stopped doing WS because of this. I know it's important to clean/purify but not at the expense of being in a negative mindset and sensation.

I think you are over analyzing it. Using the JOS calendar for your time zone, you can see when it is New. Regardless of whether it falls on the Friday or Saturday, you can start either Friday night or Saturday during the day.

Your opinion sounds right. It does happen from time to time not always perhaps I elaborated on it too much. But I guess I should listen shame I missed out on this weeks session gotta wait till next Fri as of the time of this posting February 10, 2024 on Saturday.

Anyways thank you GoldenXchild1 I'll keep an open mind and work on my soul in such way. Honestly after meditating for a while a few months then quitting for a few days and going I need to keep things simple and basic. Perhaps once a week for two days isn't a bad thing to do. Perhaps I need the gradual cleaning and the punch of the purification to help.

You need to actually do the opposite, in my opinion. If cleaning is causing issues, emotionally or otherwise, you should push through and not retreat.

With Lydia's spell for healing the psyche she mentioned that the spell can bring up issues and feelings and sensations from the past, in the process of healing them. This could be a similar phenomenon.

I agree. My experience with any working that seeks to resolve internal issues is that it always pushes back, but there comes a point where you get over the hill.

Would you be so kind to link me the spell you are referring to, I do not know if I have read about it?

Something to keep in mind is that the Sabbats do not supersede 40 day workings, so if you are applying pressure every Friday or Saturday it would be worth it to follow up with an actual working for cleaning that lasts for 40 days or more.
