Help with Astrology Chart

Hello,
So I finally managed to find the exact time I was born and looked at my natal chart on the josastro site, now without giving too much information regarding my chart.
Some houses would have nothing, while a few others would have 1,2 or multiple planets aspecting those houses. What does it mean when a house has no planet in it?
I have heard people on here mention "natal houses" what does this mean, I guess these are the houses where the planets are aspecting at the time of birth which would make them more important than the other houses?
What should I do if I have a planet that retrograde in a sign?

I am sorry for random and pointless questions, but I have no idea where to really begin. I have a lesser then basic understanding on this all. All I know is I need to focus on areas of my life that are most troublesome right now such as health, discipline, fear, communications etc etc. I am already taking on too much work hence the mention about retrograde planet.

What you should do to start figuring things out is to just read Azazel’s astrology over and over and over again while paying attention until you start understanding. It is hard and really confusing at first but get to it and you wont regret it.

If you already know some of the problems in your life, you don't necessary need to know the exact astrological basis of the problem to start implementing a solution. Some problems will encompass many planets and aspects together, too.

The houses on your chart are the natal houses. These describe the activity within your life and environment, based on the patterns in your soul. This can be good or bad based on the specific planets.

If a house does not have a planet within it, that means there is less activity, however look at the planet ruling the sign on the cusp of that house. For example, a Leo house will be influenced by your natal Sun. Leo on the 3rd house can mean prideful communications. It is positive because it suggests one's thinking patterns are empowered by the Sun, but also negative because it can create a stubborn mentality. This is one simple example.

You have all 12 houses operating in your life, whether or not there are planets within them. This is because the 12 houses are like a unified representation of a pattern of life or reality. You cannot be missing any of them.

Retrograde planets suggest the energy is acting more within you than within your environment. It is said that this is more meaningful for inner planets than outer planets. As for what this means to you or other SS, it usually means the planet needs work.
