Hello everyone!!!

I wanted to share this wonderful artwork with you all! I worked on it all day today.

I must thank OhNoItsMook for their advice in a separate topic about art. Thanks to them I ended up drawing exactly what I saw in my imagination!!!

In case you're wondering why I'm posting this so early it's because I won't be able to draw for a long while, like 4-6 months because my dominant hand will be operated upon. Yay, finally. I must thank Lord Botis for this! :)

Anyways, thank you all, you're all such a wonderful Satanic family and I am so grateful to have you all!!

Happy holidays to you all and may the Gods and Father Satan bless us all!!! :) ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I honestly fucking love late autumn-winter time, starting late October and lasting through February/early March, all my favorite holidays in there. From Samhain, Thanksgiving, to Yule, Gregorian New Year, Chinese New Year (Year of the Dragon is this year)....my energies just resonate with the north and of the winter, and tend to suffer depression during spring/summer - though in a Satanic world, each season would have a major feast with gift-giving and families getting together.

I hadn't noticed, that our Yule tree was placed in the north-end of our house making it all the more-better. Way to throw some Feng Shui in there!

Happy Upcoming Yule to You and all the Proud Gentile

This is a very nice picture :)

Thank you for sharing this ❤️ 💙 💜.

Good luck with the surgery you are having, Brother. Looking forward to hearing goof news from you :)

The surgery went well, it didn't happen today, but recent. Not gonna share when for safety reasons.

This looks pretty for its symbolism, meaning and intent behind it, but to put my critique into it for someone who tried NCII and III animation but didn't make it due to previous career handling reasons, things would have been better if you learned how to draw textures like practicing with every kind of landscape so you know how to do other objects within a consistent style so things look part of a picture. Nice background but like what I said, the styles seem inconsistent like with the snake and the entire tree and snow.

The entire pic looks smooth and sort of unnatural like those drawings from deviantart but good artwork. Take my critique or leave it, I just want to share my perspective when it comes to stuff like this that has just become a secret hobby to me now. :)

May Satan bless us all this Yule season.

1. I am not a professional;
2. This is my art style and I like it, because it's my art style;
3. I shared this for Yule because I wanted to and also it's pretty SS;
4. I never asked for critique, my friendly advise would be to not push it where it is not asked;
5. This drawing isn't suppose to be natural. Show me one large snake, let alone a cobra, in real life, but through symbolism, wrapped around a Yule tree. I drew what I saw in my mind, because I got inspired. Nobody asks you to like my art, but please keep your rude comments to yourself, thanks. If toy don't like it, then just ignore it.

To everyone else: Happy Yule!

RUDE!?!?! OMG, SHIT I DIDN'T MEAN IT T_T SORRY. I just wanted to give my perspective on it, I like it even if it's kind of looking off to me. I like it but the thing is, I just wanted to say how I would see it. Please don't think I'm egging it. :(

Welp, I won't be saying anymore critique around here, even if I leave a note that I liked it. But seriously, I would not ever stab any SS' works here and if I did, I'd say that it's totally bad with no reason to why it is and what can be improved upon. Even my works have flaws like the post I did here in the art thread for an old story.

I will delete my post if you want.

Just wanted to correct typos, it's hard typing with one hand on your phone when it has stupid autocorrect.

I missed this question.

Okay, what I meant about 'unnatural' is NOT what the snake is doing at that time, it was the fact that it looked like a rubber snake to me. Here's something that I thought could fit it but you know what? It doesn't matter anymore but you may take a look at it so you know what I meant back then when I thought being too critical about things is a good value. I wanted its body texture to stand with the style of the entire pic like the tree it's coiling itself around.

And also, I hope you got my apologies for that un-nice post I deleted. I did not intend that and I realize that the way I said things is not good. It's deleted now so please, I hope you don't take me as someone who's too frantic about whatever anyone does like the damn enemy. I even had to say that I'm sorry through your email in case time does not favor me in trying to get immediate responses out.

I love the mountains in the background that are faded from the snow falling, and the Santa hat on the snake :)

Happy Yule!

I honestly thought the santa hat on the snake was cute and nice too. :D
Welp, happy yule to you too HPS!

Happy Yule, and may the wonderful artistic expression of yours keep flowing as soon as your hand heals.

Wildfire, you really need to learn to be careful with how you critique other people's work, and perhaps before you do so, consider whether they even want or need it. I don't know what your intentions were with what you said, but Lightning-Wings is feeling extremely distressed and upset by some of the emails you've been sending her in private about this, so I suggest you stop.

I don't want to cause any trouble in this otherwise nice thread, so I'm just going to leave it at that.

I too am extremely distressed because what I did is like traitorism and it's NOT GOOD. I'm genuinely sorry for the huge blow up I did.

Yes, I'm stopping, I'm just scared that I'm going to be seen as something else very off. I apologize also for causing more harm than good.

Greetings, Lightning-Wings.

This is awesome. I am strongly impressed by the vertical composition and coloring, the festive atmosphere, and of course the Satanic symbolism! You might not know it yourself, but your illustrations possess a real sense of soul, in the sense that the feelings that inspire you to create them are actually tangible. I feel a pleasant form of emotional warmth from this, and I specifically admire the brighter, orange decoration with the bluish hue in certain areas.

I have been observing your drawings since you drew Lady Astarte, and wanted to say that I am very surprised about your rapid progress. Even more, it fills me with a great sense of happiness knowing that my art thread managed to provide such positive influence for you. In a way, I almost feel somewhat part of your illustrations, as I can see in which areas you've incorporated my advice, haha.

As for your hand, I dearly hope the best for your recovery. Although I haven't updated my thread in some time, one of the next pieces of helpful information I planned to add in the next post there, might actually assist you in your current situation, so I'll briefly convey it to you now. In summary, you don't have to let your creativity and expressive ability go by the wayside! Since art is mainly the expression of our mind, soul, and emotions, the physical aspect of drawing is only the active catalyst of the previous elements.

Meaning, you can actually improve in art just by feeding your creativity in general, through visualization, imagination, arousing inspiration through movies, games, media, et cetera. If drawing was like driving a car, the aforementioned would be like the fuel, specs, manufacturing, design, everything! Keep those aspects of art and creativity going, and you will undoubtedly experience an incredible liftoff once you're physically able to draw again.

I sincerely wish you the best in your creative endeavors, Lightning-Wings, and dearly hope to see more of your vivid creations in the future!

hey
i spent some time carefully reading and looking at every single post of yours on this forum
i was so engrossed in your words and your art that i couldn't even focus on anything else
let me tell you something from the bottom of my heart

1) your art is wonderful
2) you have an extraordinary talent, your art also arouses extraordinary emotions
3) what you feel and want to do, what you like, what you are passionate about, does not have to make sense for everyone else, what is important is that it makes sense for yourself
4) observing it carefully, one understands very well how every single detail you want to express is expressed in your art, as well as how much you manage to do it, unlike many others
5) always remember your worth ❤️
6) don't worry about certain "criticisms"
don't worry about how "rude" or "direct" some people can be
maybe it's just their way of expressing things
7) focus on the positive and constructive aspects of what everyone says, don't get carried away by negativity
8) if at the moment you have to stop your art because of your operation, don't pay too much attention to it, focus on something else = what you can do during this time instead
before you are able to notice it, you will be able to express yourself again with your art, better than ever
remember that someone out here (no matter what or how much time you need) cares a lot about your art, so we will be here ready when you can express it at its best again

and lastly, happy yule to you too 💜🌙
