Forgiveness from the Gods

I've searched both High Priestess' site and these boards, and don't seem to see any post that really delves into the subject.

I understand that each of us had our own upbringing and experiences; I personally was formerly a Christian and renounced the faith years ago, and now have recently re-ignited my passion for Father and the Gods. I have read the teachings and understand that those without are not well regarded. When I was without, I cursed fathers name and a myriad of other nonsense the Christians tricked young me into. I've done things I won't go into but I know must surely displease the Gods.

The question I want to pose for discussion, are the Gods willing to forgive our transgressions if we truly regret and (pardon the term) repent for what we have done? I have already previously held ritual to Father and the Gods I feel I have offended and formally apologized. Call it venting my guilt, but I wanted to ask the community as a whole, and see if anyone had insight.

Brother, this is xian mentality still plaguing you. Satan and the Gods understand us better than anyone else and better than we do ourselves. The fact that you have discovered that xianity is wrong and came back to the right path is enough of a repentance.

The Gods wouldn't punish you because you did something that was wrong while you were lied to and misguided by those xians. All you have to do is stay doing what is right. If you make a mistake, don't ask for forgiveness, just acknowledge it, try to correct it and stay true to our path.

Hail Satan!

The Gods simply don't care what you did when you were Christarded. You are now on their side, why should they hold what you did when you were brainwashed by that enemy hoax against you? The fact that you are now a SS and you don't hate them is enough. It's like someone who was brainwashed by a cult to do horrible things. When they left that cult and deprogrammed themselves, nobody close to them took what they did in that cult seriously or held that against them, because everyone knew they were brainwashed.

For me, if someone insults my name and then does nothing, then I will not forgive him. If you want to earn someone's forgiveness, I suggest you do something meaningful instead of feeling regret. Meditate constantly, do power rituals.

If you can apologize seriously and take actions to prove your sincerity, I'm sure the gods will forgive you. You don't need to worry about this. :)
